Lib Tech Phoenix Classic C3BTX Snowboard 2013

The Lib Tech Classic C3BTX Snowboard is the latest product of Jamie Lynn’s mad genius, combining the construction of the regular Phoenix series with the C3 Trapezoidal Camber profile. C3 focuses a mild amount of pressure between your feet and maximum pressure at the tip and tail for power, end to end stability, pop and control. Comes complete with the strength of Basalt / Fiberglass Combo fibers, Bio-Beans top sheet, H-Pop core and TNT base.
Rocker Type
C3 Camber Dominant Banana (C3 BTX) - Trapezoidal camber at the ends of the board enhanced with Banana rocker underfoot focuses a maximum amount of pressure on the tip and tail for end-to-end stability, pop and control in critical situations.

Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 6.5
Shape
Directional Twin Geometries - Effortless freestyle and freeride geometry: Twin chassis (from contact to contact) but with an ever so slightly longer nose than tail allows the board to float on powder and blasts through crud. It's a Twin with an advantage.
Core
H-Pop - Wood Alloy Core is made from experimental new dead trees with the highest compression response ever used in a snowboard. It has half the glue weight and absorbs less resin weight. Another industry first for Lib Tech.
Laminates
Basalt / Fiberglass Combo - Basalt is produced in a clean, pure process consisting of high heat and absent of toxic additives. Not only is it safer for humans, it’s easier to recycle. Basalt fiber has strength properties much higher than fiberglass and better damping properties for a smooth ride.
Sidewalls
Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls - The same futuristic power 90º pop technology from Lib Tech's world record setting skateboards and power transfer spines, only this time Lib Tech has placed it along the sidewall of your board to add board control to our sandwich construction: stronger, more pop, and more control.
Double Sintered UHMW - Twice as sintered as any other sidewall: tough, handsome, and light
Base
TNT - Fast and low maintenance dual layered fluoro base material: Wax it or maybe skip a day.
Edges
Magne-Traction™ - Serrated edges slice through the snow with 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut giving you insane edge hold and precision control. The biggest bumps are at and between your feet where your balance is centered adding maximum control and power where you need it most. The bumps outside your feet are smaller and less aggressive providing tip and tail control but maintaining freestyle freedom.

Topsheet
Bio-Plastic Beans - A bio-plastic top skin made from beans that features the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any top sheet in the industry

Correct Sandwich Construction - SUPER LIGHT SPIN WEIGHT! The perfect blend of pickles and mustard: UHMW sidewalls and Power Transfer Internal sidewalls

Don't Wait to Buy this Board

By Michael

Comments about Lib Tech Phoenix Classic C3BTX Snowboard 2013:

Can't say enough about the Lynn. It's super playful in all terrain. Sidecut allows big deep turns. Great pop and almost impossible to catch an edge. Cuts through chewed up snow with no problem and floats on powder with ease.

Jamie's Signature Board, Taken to the Ne

Comments about Lib Tech Phoenix Classic C3BTX Snowboard 2013:

With C3 in Jamie's boardm he wanted to mellow out the reverse camber between the feet to make it appear flatter, but with cambered tip and tail. The contact points in the tip at the tip and tail are over emphasized. Edge Change is super responsive, just locking on when going heel to toe and back again. Don't blow it! Buy this board.

C2+aggression+pop=C3

Comments about Lib Tech Phoenix Classic C3BTX Snowboard 2013:

If you ripping turns, hauling balls, and shredding your face off is something you enjoy, I would certainly recommend the Jamie Lynn C3 from Lib Tech. I felt comfortable going Mach10 but still could enjoy a good butter mid-run. For those out there that can't ween themselves off of camber, but still want a board that can float and be playful, C3 is where it is at.

Camber lives

Comments about Lib Tech Phoenix Classic C3BTX Snowboard 2013:

If you are a freerider who likes a stiffer board and are looking for a board that basically feels like a true camber board while still having some rocker for the softer days, this is the board for you. The C3 rails!

Phoenix Jamie Lynn C3BTX - 157cm Wide

By Chili Chow

from Seattle

Staff Reviewer

Comments about Lib Tech Phoenix Classic C3BTX Snowboard 2013:

Lib Tech took the Magne-Traction technology that put them on the map and applied it to the base of the Jamie Lynn this year. This board is incredibly fast and holds up really well when pushed at high speeds. In a lot of ways, it met my expectations. However, I don't think the board justifies the price tag. Although the tech sounds nice on paper, it didn't fully translate when I was on the board. Even though I didn't feel the advertised, "camber dominant/banana submissive" base, I would still recommend this board for the all-mountain guy that likes high speeds and a board that can really throttle.
