The brain behind Think Thank is on attack, destroying jib spots around the world. The Lib Tech Burtner's Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard is built around Jesse Burtner's mental shred style. Featuring BTX, the Box Scratcher is rockered between the bindings with a transition to flat at the contact point. This makes the board super easy to lock into presses and butters. The true twin Box Scratcher is ready to stack footy regular and switch. Hide your park! The brains have escaped! *This is a factory blem board and may have slight cosmetic damage.*
Rocker Type
BTX - Banana Technology is a all-terrain freestyle banana smoothie. Rocker is placed between your feet meeting flat and mild camber at the contact points. This creates mild tip pressure for an unreal float in deep snow and easy-presses. The solid pressure between your feet is great for turning and strong edge hold.

Flex
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) - This snowboard has a medium flex rating which is perfect for all-mountain riders who don’t want to be held back. Medium flex boards’ are stable, good at turning and playful. This snowboard will equally perform on groomers, powder and in the park. Versatility sits right in the middle.
Shape
True Twin - A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch or play in the park. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
Core
Power A Core - The Power A Core is made of lightweight, strong and lively long grain wood fibers.
Laminates
Tri-ax - 45° 45° 90° Fiber foundation torsion enhancing pop amplifier
Bi-ax - 0° and 90° Fiber foundation flexible pop magnifier
Sidewalls
Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls - The PTIS are lightweight internal sidewalls made from Birchwood to add durability where you need it the most.
UHMW External Sidewalls - Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Base
Co-Sintered Base - Eco sublimation compatible sintered base is super-fast and more environmentally friendly. Made of polyethylene pellets forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Sintered bases absorb hot wax really well.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction - The hot commodity in edge-technology; Magne-Traction maximizes your edge hold between your feet so you have better control and stability even on the iciest slopes. Magne-Traction varies in the serration depending on the board; regardless it will deliver a catch free ride any day. Magne-Traction™ features 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut.

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
