The K2 Wowpow Snowboard gets its name because everyone who rides it exclaims, "Wow that snowboard really slays the pow and everything else in its tracks." This bad babe stick has the dynamic duo of Rhythm women specific core construction and All-Terrain Baseline™ rocker to offer you the best combination of pop, power, and playfulness. The AT Baseline™ works in your favor along with the directional sidecut to allow you to make easy carves, go super fast and have tons of float in the nose - which also acts as a preload for popping off jumps. Even after the powder is gone you can still take the K2 Wowpow Snowboard along for some fearless groomer riding.
Rocker Type
All Terrain Baseline™ - Designed for use anywhere on the mountain, K2's AT baseline allows for effortless turns in the hardest conditions. It also provides ample float in soft snow and crud. Designed as a directional baseline, AT has a medium rise through the tip and a lower rise in the tail. The perfect balanced baseline for a multi-purpose rider.

Tweekend™ - A revolutionary tweak to the ends of K2's industry leading Baseline technology. By extending the Baseline rocker all the way out to the ends of the board, an additional rideable surface is unlocked, giving you a bigger, more stable platform to press, float and land on.

Flex
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 stiff) - A medium flex for a snowboard that is both playful and responsive.

Core
WH4 Honeykomb - The WH4 Core pulls every trick from K2's bag of core tech. With 3 urethane-skinned Honeykomb strips and rail-to-rail wood, WH4 is engineered to maintain durability at minimal weight.

Rhythm - K2's Rhythm Core is uniquely shaped and designed to contour to women's riding style and finesse.

Laminates
Carbon Web™ I - This core additive boosts the feel and energy return of your snowboard. By extending out beyond the contact points, it supports the whole length of the tip and tail. The result is a more connected feedback loop from terrain to rider.

ICG 10 - Integrating carbon into the fiberglass reducing overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider at hand and their performance needs.

Biaxial - The classic structure laminate, biaxial glass provides smooth all-purpose performance.
Sidewalls
Hybritech™ - An efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. This construction features sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail to provide low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation, and durability.

Base
4000 Sintered - This is the fastest base material available, with exceptional durability and wax retention.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freeride, Powder
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
    Powder
Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
