We're sitting at work right now, but we're day dreaming about snow, lots of snow. That effortless, smooth feeling of slashing epic pow fields just got better with the K2 Ultra Dream Snowboard. Featuring K2's BC Hyper Progressive shape, the Ultra Dream has a longer tip blend zone that integrates with Tweekend™ for maximum surface area in the nose, a.k.a. better float in deep pow. Plus, with the addition of Carbon Web™ II to the killer Bambooyah™ core, this board wants to power through turns and charge deep pow. Chase the dream of an endless winter with the K2 Ultra Dream Snowboard.
Rocker Type
All Terrain Baseline™ - Designed for use anywhere on the mountain, All Terrain Baseline allows for effortless turns on hardpack but also provides ample float in softer snow and crud. Designed as a directional Baseline, AT has a medium rise through the tip and a lower rise in the tail. It's the perfect setup for the multi-purpose rider.
Tweekend™ - A revolutionary tweak to the ends of K2's industry leading Baseline technology. By extending the Baseline rocker all the way out to the absolute ends of the board, additional rideable surface is unlocked, giving you a bigger, more stable platform to press, float and land on.
Shape
BC Hyper Progressive - Soft snow turns are different. Turns and control come from not only carving but also pushing and displacing snow. A different turn requires a different shape. With a longer tip blend and delayed initiation of the sidecut, K2's new BC shaping eliminates the over steering that can come from traditional hard snow based design.
Core
Bambooyah™ Blend WH4 - Bambooyah™ cores are skate style horizontally laminated bamboo cores that K2 challenges any rider to try and break. The WH4 core pulls every trick from K2's bag of core tech. With greater percentage of Honeykomb than the WH3 core, it's engineered to maintain durability at minimal weight.
Laminates
Biaxial Glass - The classic structural laminate, biax glass provides smooth, all-purpose performance.
ICG 20 - Integrating carbon into the fiberglass reducing overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider at hand and their performance needs.
Sidewalls
Patented Hybritech™ - Hybritech™ is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. This construction features sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail to provide low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation and durability.
Base
Ø Sintered - An ultra thin, lightweight, lower material usage, static eliminating base
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Additional Features
Carbon Web™ II - Designed specifically to enhance Baseline technology, K2's Carbon Web brings the pop and snap of carbon closer to your bindings for maximum ollies and control in every situation.
1˚ Base Bevel - Less scorps for you, hooray!

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Powder
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Powder
Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
