Get lifted all the way to cloud nine with the K2 Subculture Snowboard. The Precision Lifted™ Baseline reigns in the benefits of both camber and rocker. How? A flat, lifted center utilizes downward pressure from the riders weight translating to more energized turns from the constant edge contact. However, riders will noticeably feel the under-foot rocker when applying additional pressure in the pow or park, hence better nose presses and butters! Intermediate to more advanced boarders can embrace hand drags and admire their lines in the deep-stuff with their newly optimized turning abilities. The base bevel of 1º ensures a catch free jib-session while the Hybritech™ sidewalls maximize durability and edge hold on hard-pack. The K2 Subculture Snowboard is the all-mountain shred machine ready to straight line the groomers at lightening-speed.
Rocker Type
Precision Lifted™ Baseline - Bringing a new level of Pop to K2's Baseline offering, Lifted is just what it sounds like. Taking the flat between the feet foundation that all K2's boards are built on and simply raised it. This brings in the Pop of cambered boards while maintaining the even weighted contact points that give you the straight tracking, effortless precision of a flat board.

Tweekend™ - A revolutionary tweak to the ends of K2's industry leading Baseline technology. By extending the Baseline rocker all the way out to the absolute ends of the board, additional rideable surface is unlocked, giving you a bigger, more stable platform to press, float and land on.

Shape
Twin Hyper Progressive - An infinite number of different radii are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. The result is a super predictable feel that never hooks. Responsive at high speeds and smooth enough to butter your way from the peak to park.
Core
W2 - Three species of renewable wood are assembled to optimize strength, reduce weight, and enhance damping without the addition of other materials.
Laminates
Biaxial Glass - The classic structural laminate, biax glass provides smooth, all-purpose performance.
ICG10 - Integrating carbon into the fiberglass reducing overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider at hand and their performance needs.
Sidewalls
Hybritech™ - Hybritech™ is an efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. This construction features sidewall along the running surface that flow into the nose and tail to provide low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation and durability.
Base
4000 Sintered - A fast base material with exceptional durability and wax retention.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Base Bevel: 1º - The base bevel is the degree at which the base edge is tuned to for edge engagement. The more bevel the more rider input is necessary to angle the board for carving precision. With this slight base bevel a rider will experience a mellow ride for softer snow conditions.
Additional Features
Carbon Web™ I - Designed specifically to enhance Baseline technology, K2's Carbon Web brings the pop and snap of carbon closer to your bindings for maximum ollie power and control in every situation.

Carbon Wing™ 1 - It pops so good.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
    Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
