K2 Shop all K2
Grab the K2 Raygun Snowboard and reward yourself with a board that'll kill it in any condition, all over the mountain, without knocking your credit card unconscious. K2's All Terrain Rocker™ provides the float you crave in the deep stuff and makes critical transitions easy peasy - say goodbye to embarrassing heelside head slams. All of this is held together with K2's ICG construction that integrates carbon fiber into the glass weave to increase strength, pop and liveliness. Just point the Raygun and pull the trigger, the future is yours.
Rocker Type
All Terrain Rocker™ - Designed for use anywhere on the mountain, All Terrain Baseline allows for effortless turns on hardpack but also provides ample float in softer snow and crud. Designed as a directional Baseline, AT has a medium rise through the tip and a lower rise in the tail. It's the perfect setup for the multi-purpose rider.
Shape
All Mountain Hyper Progressive - An infinite number of different radii are blended together smoothly, from mellow in the tips to more aggressive in the center. The result is a super predictable feel that never hooks. This sidecut is responsive at high speeds and smooth enough to butter your way from the peak to park.
Core
W1 Core - K2's W1 core is characterized by a single species of pure wood with proven flex, durability, and snap. This is K2's standard core for entry to mid level boards.
Laminates
ICG10 - Integrating carbon into the fiberglass reducing overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider at hand and their performance needs.
Biaxial Bottom Glass - The classic structural laminate, biax glass provides smooth, all-purpose performance.
Sidewalls
Patented Hybritech™ Sidewalls - Hybritech™ is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. This construction features sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail to provide low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation and durability.
Base
2000 Extruded - This base technology is fast, durable, easy to tune and repair.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4 Insert Pattern

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freeride
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
