The K2 Panoramic Splitboard continues to lead the hunt for fresh powder and challenging new lines. This ultra-lightweight board is built with K2's Hybrilight construction and makes skinning so much easier. The K2 Z-Clip system optimizes the rider's ability to explore by offering a lightweight, minimalist and secure skin attachment. Bambooyah™ construction means you have a strong and reliable core backed by a 5 year (5 YEARS, DUDE) warranty for core breakage.
Rocker Type
All Terrain Baseline™ - Designed for use anywhere on the mountain, All Terrain Baseline allows for effortless turns on hardpack but also provides ample float in softer snow and crud. Designed as a directional Baseline, AT has a medium rise through the tip and a lower rise in the tail. It's the perfect setup for the multi-purpose rider.
Tweekend™ - A revolutionary tweak to the ends of K2's industry leading Baseline technology. By extending the Baseline rocker all the way out to the absolute ends of the board, additional rideable surface is unlocked, giving you a bigger, more stable platform to press, float and land on.

Flex
Splitboards are meant for the snowboarder who has already conquered the resort. Generally a stiffer ride, Splitboards are recommend for experts only.
Sidecut
Hyper Progressive - An infinite number of different radii are blended together smoothly - from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. The result is a super predictable feel that never hooks and is responsive at high speeds yet smooth enough to butter your way from the peak to park.
Core
Bambooyah™ Split - Bambooyah™ cores are skate style horizontally laminated bamboo cores that K2 challenges any rider to try and break. One bambooyah™ core per split.
Laminates
Bottom - Biaxial Glass - The classic structure laminate, biax glass provides smooth, all-purpose performance.
Top - ICG 20 - Integrating carbon into the fiberglass reduces overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider's size and their performance needs.
Sidewalls
Hybrilight™ - K2's Hybrilight™ Construction features a thin, constant thickness sidewall designed for maximum performance and minimal material usage. The result is a lighter and more advanced board with less waste produced. Better board, greener world.
Base
4000 Sintered - This is the fastest base material available, with exceptional durability and wax retention.
Base Bevel -
Additional Features
Carbon Web™ II - Designed specifically to enhance Baseline technology, K2's Carbon Web brings the pop and snap of carbon closer to your bindings for maximum ollies and control in every situation.
Z-Clip - K2's unique Z-Clips utilize the holes in the ski tips, avoid having to fold the skin over, reduce weight and prevent snow buildup under the tip while skinning. The result is better adhesion and more security.
Binding Compatibility
Split Track - Infinite stance angles are possible with Split Track binding mounting.

Specs

  • Terrain: Splitboarding
    Splitboarding
A splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you've reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it's important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Core/Laminates: Bamboo
  • Warranty: Bambooyah 5-year warranty against core breakage
