Everyone loves a couple of cold ones after work. Everyone also loves the K2 Happy Hour Snowboard. Racking in another year of awards, it's no wonder the Happy Hour is a favorite of pros like Danny Larsen and Tim Eddy. The Lifted™ Baseline and internal Ollie Bar™ provide riders with an insane amount of pop for the tastiest freestyle concoction. Whether ripping the park or the entire mountain, the K2 Happy Hour is ready to mix things up. Anyone want a badboy soda?
Rocker Type
Lifted Baseline™ - Bringing a new level of Pop to K2's Baseline offering, Lifted is just what it sounds like. Taking the flat between the feet foundation that all K2 boards are built on and raised it. This brings in the pop of cambered boards while maintaining the neutrally weighted contact points that give you the straight tracking, effortless precision of a flat board.
Catch Free Baseline™ - By bringing the contact points out of the snow, turns happen before the edge bites and - voila! - no catch. This small amount of Rocker results in more confidence throughout the learning curve and unlocks faster progression on all terrain.
Shape
Stabby Grabby Twin - This twin shape offers a pointed nose and tail, perfect for grabs or taking out skiers.
Core
WH3 - Using the same wood lay up as the W2 core, K2's WH3 adds two strips of Honeykomb material between the bindings and the rails. K2's Honeykomb cores uses a urethane-skinned Honeykomb™ for bonding strength and durability.
Laminates
Biaxial Glass - The classic structural laminate, biax glass provides smooth, all-purpose performance.
ICG10 - Integrating carbon into the fiberglass reducing overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider at hand and their performance needs.
Sidewalls
Patented Hybritech™ - Hybritech™ is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. This construction features sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail to provide low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation and durability.
Base
4000 Sintered - This is the fastest base material available, with exceptional durability and wax retention.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Additional Features
Carbon Web™ II - Designed specifically to enhance Baseline technology, K2's Carbon Web brings the pop and snap of carbon closer to your bindings for maximum ollies and control in every situation.
Ollie Bar™ - The Ollie Bar is a totally new approach to adding pop to a snowboard. Molded in a pre-loaded, cambered shape it solves the problem of rocker boards not having the pop that camber boards have. Made with a secret lay up of carbon, Kevlar and glass layers, the Ollie Bar is positioned in the center of the board between the binding inserts.
1˚ Base Bevel - Less scorps for you, hooray!

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
    Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
