The K2 Fling Snowboard has a stiffer flex and is meant for true freestyle versatility and response on the mountain. The true twin tip design allows for performing and landing tricks backwards and a wider variety of on the fly moves.
Construction and Core
Hybritaper™ construction features sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail providing low swing weight, optimized turn initiation and durability. The core at the tip and tail are tapered to reduce the swing weight even further. The trips are blended from a cap into a thin sandwich removing material where you don’t need it.
The Rhythm Core offers three species of renewable wood assembled to optimize strength, reduce weight and enhance dampening without the addition of other materials. Lighter and softer woods are used in the tips and tails resulting in a lower swing-weight and easy turn initiation.
Shape
Twin Hyper Progressive shape is more mellow in the tips and more aggressive in the center resulting in a super predictable feel that never hooks. This shape responds at high speeds so you can cruise from peak to park.
