Cruise down untouched lines and straight into the park on the Jones Twin Sister Snowboard. The Twin Sister features a twin profile with a directional flex which results in a freestyle machine with a freeride spirit that transforms the mountain into your own personal skatepark. Early rise rocker in the tip and tail gives the Twin Sister excellent float in deep snow, while camber underfoot and Mellow Magne-Traction edges offers supreme edge hold on the hard packed. Strategically placed Carbon Stringers dampens your ride while providing you with that extra snap when you need it most. From gnarly tree lines to stomping huge park kickers, the Jones Twin Sister Snowboard is an easy choice.
Rocker Type
Camrock - A unique rocker/camber flex pattern defined by evenly balanced tip and tail rocker and slight camber between the bindings. CAMROCK improves freestyle finesse by keeping your tips playful while maintaining the power and pop of camber underfoot.

Shape
Blunt Nose - "How a board glides in powder, crust, corn, or any snow condition more then an inch deep is dictated by its front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer board tip without the added length or swing weight." -Jeremy Jones.
Core
FSC® Wood Core - The FSC® wood cores come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. ALL Jones Snowboard Cores are FSC®.
Hard Core (Poplar / Beech) - Jones' signature core, the Hard Core, is a hybrid wood core designed for the ultimate pop, power transfer and durability. Featherweight Poplar stringers in the middle of the core are framed with bulletproof Beech stringers under the edges to produce a core that combines the snappy, even flex of Poplar with the damp responsive benefits of Beech. Framing the sides of the core in the Beech Hardwood creates unparalleled energy transfer to your edge and helps protect the board from harsh side impacts.
Laminates
Triax - This lightweight, multi axis, stitched fiberglass laminate provides torsional stiffness, pop and response for precise controlled riding in a multitude of terrain and snow conditions.
Carbon Stringers - Carbon stringers are added to select models to improve pop and torsional stiffness and increase the longevity of the flex profile. This lightweight layer helps the board perform the same on day 100 as it did on day one - precise and playful.
Base
Sintered Base - Fastest natural base material available. Durable, absorbs wax faster and retains wax longer.
Flip Flop Base - By flip flopping the base graphic colors, P-Tex waste is drastically reduced by increasing the material yield.
Edges
Mellow Magne-Traction - Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Magne-Traction improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of the board. "Magne-Traction is a key ingredient for rockered board designs. Adding rocker to your board makes it glide more smoothly, but it makes it harder to really lock into your turns and hold a solid edge. Magne-Traction is crucial to offset the drift typical of rocker flex patterns." - Jeremy Jones
Stronger Edges - Jones added 35% more steel than a typical edge. What this achieves is a 250% increase in impact resistance compared to other edges offered on the market today.
Topsheet
Film Topsheet - A thin piece of film replaces the traditional plastic topsheet. This eliminates plastic and reduces the weight of the board.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freeride
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
