Head Transit I. Snowboard 2009: With a snappy wood core to keep things light, Edge Defender to deliver smooth protection and a super fast base, the Head Transit i is a real hoot in the park and pipe. A true twin with sick graphics on the top and bottom, the Head Transit i. will make sure you never want to ride powder again.
Other Features
Intelligence Fibers Technology in tip and tail. With the Intellifibers, the faster you go and more vibration you create, the more energy you generate. The energy is captured and fired back to the fibers in five-thousandths of a second so they stiffen up and increase torsional stability.
Edge Defender: The Edge Defender is an additional Titanal Edge that’s embedded into the board to help keep it from delaminating or deforming, even when it comes in contact with the inevitable pounding in the park and pipe.
Sintruded IS4600 Base: Best of two worlds – High wax absorption and dense molecular structure at the same time. The Sintruded IS4600 Base is fast & resistant and features Slick Grind 10 Base Tuning
Power Center Wood Core: Ultra light tip-to-tail wood core, made from hand selected one-piece poplar stringers, strengthened through beech stringers along the longitudinal axis, provide constant longitudinal flex characteristics at medium torsion loads.
Real twin shape, Sidewall construction, Carbon Kevlar Torsion Frame, Radial sidecut, Edge de-tuning

Comments about Head Transit I. Snowboard 2009:

I shred this twin board when I want an all mountain fun board that can do anything. It excels in the park but will charge in the powder. For rails the edges are reinforced and have held up much better grinding metal rails than some other boards I've ridden in the park. The one thing this board has that holds it back from being exceptional in the park is its a bit stiff but if you want it to work everywhere it will have to be a bit stiff in one category. If you need one board that does more than most boards for way less money look no further. Full wood core you can see and a good value with sick graphics, this is a great looking board.
