GNU Pickle PBTX Snowboard 2013

The Park Pickle has Banana Rocker between your feet for easy riding and catch-free park freestyle performance. The Magne-Traction edges on the GNU Pickle PBTX Snowboard give you unreal edge hold while Asymmetric sidecuts and construction provide better balance for heelside and toeside turns. Hand-built with fast growing eco wood and environment-friendly construction techniques, this is one green Pickle.
Rocker Type
Banana Technology (BTX) - All terrain rocker placed specifically where it belongs, between your feet, creates a nearly flat profile from outside the binding to tip and tail with full tip-to-tail edge contact when you stand on your board for all terrain performance. Banana tech is easy to ride, rips the hard pack and ice, kills the jibs, and floats the powder unbelievably.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 5.5-6.5 (depending on size)
Shape
Twin Asymmetric - Symmetrical nose and tail shape, asymmetric sidecuts in middle
Sidecut
Pickle Technology - Asymmetric sidecuts and construction balance the different turning mechanics requires for heelside and toeside turns. There is a deeper sidecut on your heel edge. Your body is asymmetric, your snowboard should be asymmetric.
Core
Mervin AG Asym Aspen core
Base
Sintered 9900 Alloy - Continuous compression formed for molecular elongation, preserving its amorphous polymer structure, for maximum wax absorption, and durability: It's tough and fast.
Edges
Magne-Traction™ - This gives better edge hold and makes for an easier ride. Serrated edges cut into the snow like a knife giving you more edge hold and control than ever before. Magne-Traction™ features 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut.

Comments about GNU Pickle PBTX Snowboard 2013:

Sweetest board I've ever ridden. I am 6' 4" and weigh 185lbs and went from a LIB TRS 162 to a GNU Park Pickle 156 and decided to sell the TRS after the first run on the Park Pickle. What a fun board. Have ridden it in deep powder and on hard pack. This is the closest you can get to a 1-quiver all mountain board.

      Parks and Pickles

      By Kose

Comments about GNU Pickle PBTX Snowboard 2013:

Not too much has changed from the 2012 Park pickle and the 2013 Park pickle. But it was still my favorite board of the day. Magne-traction held the edge while bombing down runs, and a little bit of flex made for some rad ollies and 360's.

Comments about GNU Pickle PBTX Snowboard 2013:

Stepping off a V-Rocker I found it took a short while to settle in to the board but it is incredibly forgiving and capable. Once settled in it has a very high level of capability. The wavy edge really works and you start to take ice sections for granted (UNtil you go back onto another board).

Comments about GNU Pickle PBTX Snowboard 2013:

This board is a blast. I've been riding the 156 (I'm 6'0 185) and it's is absolutely awesome. It has a ton of pop and it's super lightweight - but is still stable at high speeds. The a-symmetrical edges allow it to cut through the crud making it more than just a park board. This thing can conquer the whole mountain. A piece of advice - get yo'self a pickle.
