GNU Metal Guru EC2BTX Snowboard 2013

Go ahead, sell the quiver and simplify your life; the GNU Metal Guru EC2BTX Snowboard will do it all. Catch-free jibbing? Check. Float in pow? Check. Rail on hardpack and ice? Check. This all terrain freestyle board features Magne-Traction, an environmentally friendly construction, and Elliptical Camber Banana Tech rocker to keep you covered in any conditions.
Rocker Type
EC2 Banana Technology (EC2 BTX) - EC2 rides halfway between Banana Tech and C2. Rocker between the feet, elliptical camber at the tip and tail: It effortlessly floats the pow, kills the jibs, and has the pop and tip-to-tail stability to stomp whatever you launch.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 4-5 (depending on size)
Shape
True Twin - Twin (equal length and equal width) tip and tails combined with a centered radial sidecut rides equally well in both directions with a focus on freestyle. Park, powder, pipe: perfect.
Core
AG1 Sustainable Woodcore - A perfect combination of Aspen, ultra lightweight genetically altered wood core, and EISS 9
Laminates
Triaxial Glass reinforcement
Edges
Magne-Traction™ - This gives better edge hold and makes for an easier ride. Serrated edges cut into the snow like a knife giving you more edge hold and control than ever before. Magne-Traction™ features 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut.

Comments about GNU Metal Guru EC2BTX Snowboard 2013:

It seems like every manufacturer is making rocker and hybrid rocker/camber boards, so I had to try one out. This is the first board I have ever owned/riden that was not a camber board. It comes with the C2BTX Core and Magnatraction. I have this board in a 158 with Ride Rodeo bindings. I use +15 in the front, and -6 in the rear with Salomon Pledge Boots and Nike Kaiju Boots. Overall this was a very fun board to ride. I road this board all over the mountain in all types of snow conditions. This board handled everything I threw at it. It's easy to turn, almost too easy at times. At certain times, when moving my rear foot, the board seems to slide or float a little too easy as I switched directions, and didn't carve like I wanted it to, but other than that, it rode pretty well. I was going really fast at times on this board and it held really well, some runs I absolutely shredded the mountain on this board. The magnatraction also works fairly well and grip is pretty good when you need it. I rode this board at Seven Springs, PA.

Comments about GNU Metal Guru EC2BTX Snowboard 2013:

A great ride for someone who spends their time in the bowls and trees. It helped me stomp some less than perfect drops. It felt solid on groomers. Great board for intermediate riders looking for one board.
