GNU Ladies Choice C2PBTX Snowboard - Women's 2013

The GNU Ladies Choice C2PBTX Snowboard is the first choice for the most shred-ready ladies, combining the best of Mervin’s grab bag of tech solutions to offer a board that will rock in any conditions, all over the mountain. Tested and proven by Jamie Anderson in the park, this board will handle the most aggressive freeriders while maintaining a calm demeanor for the rest of us.
Rocker Type
C2 Banana Camber Technology (C2 BTX) - This combines rocker underfoot with radial camber to contact points for perfect carved turns and edge hold on ice, plus pop and stability for air and landings.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 4.5-6 (depending on size)
Medium flex handles everything from corduroy, powder, to big mountain obstacles. It's built for riders who enjoy plentiful response but still need a forgiving board for progressing skills.
Shape
Twin Asymmetric - Symmetrical nose and tail shape, asymmetric sidecuts in middle
Sidecut
Pickle Technology - Asymmetric sidecuts and construction balance the different turning mechanics requires for heelside and toeside turns. There is a deeper sidecut on your heel edge. Your body is asymmetric, your snowboard should be asymmetric.
Core
A.5 Sustainable Woodcore - Full Aspen with EISS 5 edge pop / strength
Laminates
Bi-Axial Glass - 2 way fiber orientation is engineered to make the difficult easy.
Base
Sintered 9900 Alloy - Continuous compression formed for molecular elongation, preserving its amorphous polymer structure, for maximum wax absorption, and durability: It's tough and fast.
Edges
Magne-Traction™ - This gives better edge hold and makes for an easier ride. Serrated edges cut into the snow like a knife giving you more edge hold and control than ever before. Magne-Traction™ features 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut.

The Freestyle Big Mt Board

Comments about GNU Ladies Choice C2PBTX Snowboard - Women's 2013:

Perfect Gnu board for the freestyle big mtn rider. Rides like the B-pro but a bit softer which makes for a good time. The balance thru tip and tail makes switch riding easy. Magnetraction holds your edge when you need and engages turns when you are charging. Board you can take into the BC and thrown on for some hot laps over big booters in the park.

GNU: Ladies Choice

Comments about GNU Ladies Choice C2PBTX Snowboard - Women's 2013:

The GNU "Ladies Choice" was a blast! Mellow flex and asymmetric side-cuts made the "Ladies Choice" spunky, playful, and when it came time to go fast this board had excellent edge hold. The "Ladies Choice" is the perfect all mountain board for a girl who likes to be creative and charge.

For aggressive riders

By Maggg

from Seattle, WA

Comments about GNU Ladies Choice C2PBTX Snowboard - Women's 2013:

While fast and an excellent ride, I felt though Gnu Ladies Choice would be more appropriate for a more aggressive rider than myself. It had excellent response and held a sturdy edge (ya, magnetraction!). I would consider myself and intermediate rider.

Comments about GNU Ladies Choice C2PBTX Snowboard - Women's 2013:

I really loved riding the 153 Ladies Choice this season. With the amount of snow we get in the PNW, I decided to size up to the 153, and I was not disappointed. This board does really well in the powder and is such a stable ride for when it gets bumpy.
