Competing in high level competitions around the world and even picking up an Olympic gold medal, pro-rider Jamie Anderson performs at her best on the GNU Ladies Choice EC2 PBTX Snowboard. As one of the most technologically advanced freestyle boards from Gnu, the Ladies Choice offers balance through a Twin Asymmetrical Symmetrical Synchronization shape, which works with your body by balancing your toe and heelside to enhance control. Magne-Traction™ increases edge hold in every condition, even the icy stuff. You too can prepare for the podium with the award winning GNU Ladies Choice EC2 PBTX Snowboard.
Rocker Type
EC2BTX - EC2BTX is a solid combination of rocker and mellow camber profiles. Underfoot you received the stability and pop of rocker that transitions into a subtle elliptical camber towards the tip and tail. You will love riding everywhere on this vibration-free, forgiving and responsive stick.

Flex
Flex: 4.5 - 5.5 (Depending on Size) - A versatile, medium-stiff flex designed to be aggressive yet playful, and great for all-mountain riding.
Shape
A.S.S. Tech - This board is Asymmetric, and still symmetric at the same time. It might sound a little odd, but it works with how your body moves. By having symmetry in the board's sidecut, wood core, contact points, and the tip and tail design it makes riding a lot more fluid and easy!
Core
Paulownia - Incredible, ultra-lightweight, strong and poppy. Growing up to 20 feet a year once harvested, it grows back out of its own stump, making it extremely renewable.
Great Lakes Aspen - Light, strong, smooth riding, higher density Aspen.
Rocky Mtn Aspen - Very light dry climate Aspen with a crisp, poppy feel
Colombian Gold - Strong, poppy, extra-light, golden colored, fast-growing farmed wood.
Sidewalls
UHMW External Sidewalls - Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Base
Sintered Base - Fast, tough, maximum wax retention.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction™ - The hot commodity in edge-technology; Magne-Traction maximizes your edge hold between your feet so you have better control and stability even on the iciest slopes. Magne-Traction varies in the serration depending on the board; regardless it will deliver a catch free ride any day. Magne-Traction™ features 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber/Rocker/Camber
    Camber/Rocker/Camber
Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.
  • Shape: Asymmetrical
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
