The GNU Carbon Credit BTX Snowboard is the perfect board for beginners looking to progress or advanced riders looking for a reasonably priced deck. Featuring GNU's Banana BTX, the Carbon Credit offers rocker between your feet, combined with flat sections to the contact points. This creates a fun, surfy ride that excels in park and powder. Plus, Magne-Traction™ gives this board incredible edge hold and control in the iciest of conditions. It's time to get after it with the GNU Carbon Credit BTX Snowboard.
Rocker Type
BTX - GNU's BTX rocker profile places rocker between your feet, that transcends from flat to mild camber out to the contact points (tip and tail). This mellow blend of rocker and camber results in smooth riding, responsive turning, catch free jibbing and an epic float in pow.

Flex
Flex Rating: 4.5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - This board has a forgiving flexibility rating of 4.5. Riders who use the entire mountain as their playground will benefit from this playful, versatile and damp flex rating.
Shape
True Twin - A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch or play in the park. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
Core
Great Lakes Aspen - Light, strong, smooth riding, higher density Aspen.
Colombian Gold - Strong, poppy, extra-light, golden colored, fast-growing farmed wood.
Laminates
Carbon Stringers - Much pop!
Sidewalls
UHMW External Sidewalls - Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.

Edges
Magne-Traction™ - The hot commodity in edge-technology; Magne-Traction maximizes your edge hold between your feet so you have better control and stability even on the iciest slopes. Magne-Traction varies in the serration depending on the board; regardless it will deliver a catch free ride any day. Magne-Traction™ features 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
