GNU Billy Goat C2BTX Snowboard - Blem 2013

Designed by four-time Mt. Baker Banked Slalom Champion Temple Cummins, the GNU Billy Goat C2BTX Snowboard features banana technology with camber at tip and tail for a board that aggressive all terrain riders will love and trust. You’ll get end-to-end stability and the pop of camber at each end with the proven carving performance of Banana Tech in between. Temple, Forrest Burki, and Matt Edgers put this one to the test all season long and came up smiling; we think you will too. *This is a factory blem board and may have slight cosmetic damage.
Rocker Type
C2 Banana Camber Technology (C2 BTX) - This combines rocker underfoot with radial camber to contact points for perfect carved turns and edge hold on ice, plus pop and stability for air and landings.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 6.5-8 (depending on size)
Shape
Twin Asymmetric - Symmetrical nose and tail shape, asymmetric sidecuts in middle
Core
BA Sustainable Woodcore - Super damp and dense for solid pop and crud blasting stability at speed
Laminates

Base

Edges
Magne-Traction™ - This gives better edge hold and makes for an easier ride. Serrated edges cut into the snow like a knife giving you more edge hold and control than ever before. Magne-Traction™ features 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut.

Comments about GNU Billy Goat C2BTX Snowboard - Blem 2013:

This board is for riding hard. On groomers it wants to turn. The edges bite like crazy on our eastern ice. On my trip to Colorado it ate up the back country, floated well, and was rock solid. I wish I'd have gotten a longer board so it planed up on the pow easier. I got a 162 because I wanted it to turn easy. I was coming from an all camber board. Should have gotten a 165 or longer cause the rocker/camber combo makes this board turn on a dime. Kills it in the trees, moguls, etc. Carves as aggressively as you want. Soaks up chunky stuff. Only weakness is cruising straight it's a little squirelly. Not for beginners. Amazing when ridden hard.

Comments about GNU Billy Goat C2BTX Snowboard - Blem 2013:

I bought this board because I wanted a board that was well-suited in the trees and in light-to-moderate powder. So far, it has been perfect for those two uses. It turns on a dime, has good speed, and stability. The C2 BTX shape really has nice feel when riding on the mountain. It's a fairly stiff board, but turn-initiation is still amazingly easy. It doesn't have the high-speed stability that I've had with some traditional cambered boards(Burton Custom X,Burton Juice Wagon) that I ride, but for what I bought it for, I'm really enjoying it. Highly recommend it for Intermediate to Expert riders that are looking for a nice backcountry/powder board that can realistically can be used as an All-Mountain Board.

Comments about GNU Billy Goat C2BTX Snowboard - Blem 2013:

After riding a 163 K2 Fatbob for 10 years. I picked up the Billy Goat in a 156. To say I'm happy with the board is an understatment. It's quick to turn. Carves great! Handles ice like it's not ever there thanks to the Magnatraction. I was really amazed how fast of a board it is for it's size. Way faster than my K2. My favorite thing about this board is that its very forgiving. There are several times on this board where I thought I lost it, and was able to recover. Also for a short board, it handles the powder well because of the banana technology. I highly recommend this board

Comments about GNU Billy Goat C2BTX Snowboard - Blem 2013:

Amazing board. Using this board with the cartels. I would say I am an all mountain rider 5'5" and 150 lbs. Previous board was a cambered board. First time getting into this board I was extremely surprised at how easy and little effort this board took to maneuver and very light weight. There is less pop than a pure camber, but the stability and lack of effort required to turn on this board more than make up for it. Blem I found on my board was barely noticeable. After riding the whole season the blem just blends with everything else from regular use.
