GNU B-Street BTX Snowboard - Blem - Women's 2014

Streets, mountains, or parks, the world is your playground when you're riding the GNU B-Street BTX Snowboard. The B-Street is a jib focused twin freestyle park slayer with the original Banana rocker that can still perform outside of the park due to the award winning Magne-traction technology. This board has a fun, poppy flex that's perfect for freestyle riding and it won't soften up and turn to mush after beating it down on metal and concrete if that's what you decide to ride. Backside 180 this, frontside 1080 that, and surf through some pow, no big deal on the GNU B-Street BTX Snowboard. *Note: This is a factory blem board and may have slight cosmetic damage.*
Rocker Type
BTX - BTX puts rocker between your feet and flat to mild cambers out to the contact points. Easy riding and turning, great jibbing and epic float in pow are the result.
Flex
Flex 4-5.5 (depending on size) - Medium flex handles everything from corduroy, powder, to big mountain obstacles. It's built for riders who enjoy plentiful response but still need a forgiving board for progressing skills.
Shape
Twin Jib Freestyle (Beveled Edge) - A symmetrical shape for equally precise performance riding regular or switch. Twin geometries, flex and edge design are all catered for jibbing and throwing down in the park.
Core
A1 (Aspen) - Light and strong
Sidewalls
Fast, rugged UHMW sidewalls
Base
Sintered Base - Compression hardened amorphous UHMW skived from the billet to create the toughest, fastest, best wax holding base material around. This base slides best and fastest when waxed regularly to match local snow conditions.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction - Serrated edges give great edgehold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and blue ice!
Topsheet
Co Ex Top - Polyester topsheet material

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Camber/Rocker/Camber
    Camber/Rocker/Camber
Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
