Forum Destroyer Chilly Dog Rocker Snowboard 2010: Like the team and the brand, Forum’s flagship board has been killing it since…well, forever. Each season the Destroyer is the one caught slaying street rails, stomping new tricks and ruling monster transitions. For 2010 nothing has changed about how sick the Destroyer is on boxes, rails, and features, but the serial art has surely evolved from earlier darkness.
- Flex and Rider Style:Flex: 5 (1 Softer – 10 Stiffer) The Destroyer Chilly Dog Rocker is built for an advanced rider who feels comfortable in most types of terrain and changing conditions and wants a board with enough flex to soak up the pow and lap the park.
- Construction and Core:Gnar LE Core: Pro-strength core provides both a lively ride and snappy pop. Grainbelt tech adds snap-resistant strength in the critical impact zone between the bindings // Chilly Dog Tech: Shaped like a boiled brat instead of a slippery banana, dead fish or ‘80s rocker, Forum’s continuous radius rise will surface when pointed either tip or tail first. The Chilly Dog hits transitions smoothly, won’t plow into the lip and resurfaces like bad onions and jalapenos when landing switch.
- Sidewalls and Edges:Swingers Club Tech: CNC machines profile Forum wood cores so the ends are as skinny as a supermodel. Less density at the ends also means the tip rises faster in untracked terrain, making for a quick exit from sketchy situations
- Base:Formula Base: With some suggested maintenance – like waxing and scraping – this ride will accelerate faster and hit a higher top-end speed. No more coming up short, coming in last or getting sloppy seconds on first run.
