The freestyle frontrunner of the DC women’s line the DC Ply Snowboard is ready to rock women’s snowboarding. Designed for ladies that like to take things to the next level, the Ply has super fun Lock and Load Camber, the unique nose and tail shape of new Skate Twin Shape, and Flexalite Tip construction, making it ride like a skateboard on snow! Get your hands on this colorful play machine and feel it bring out the street skater in you.
Rocker Type
Lock and Load Camber - Original camber shape in the center but lengthens the contact points to 20cm for a flat, stable platform for locking on and loading up the tail like a true skateboard for presses and ollies like never before.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 6, mid-range flex rating makes this board buttery enough to get extra tricky on everything park and stiff enough to be responsive on other areas of the mountain.
Shape
Skate Twin Shape - Has a nose built for smooth transitioning and powder float, center that rides like a true twin, and the tail that is great for quick turns and powerful ollies.
Radius 2 Flat - Has flat surfaces at the tip and tail of the board to provide lift in powder to keep you floating in the deepest snow, while the radius blends in perfectly with the sidecut to create effortless transitions from edge to edge.
Core
Stratus - Vertically laminated 100% poplar wood core is powerful, lightweight, and maintains good pop, whether in the steeps, park or the streets.
Laminates
64.20 BI-AX - Two directions of glass fibers woven tightly together for a forgiving and torsionally flexible ride; this gives you increased board control and feel without sacrificing strength.
Base
True Base - Fast, durable, and easy to maintain. It provides an exceptionally fast base that doesn't require frequent tuning.
Structurn™ Base - Just like the dimples of a golf ball break tension and make it fly farther, these small dimples in the base break water tension and allow your board to glide faster, turn easier and allow you to ride on.
Additional Features
Flexalite Tip Construction - 30% lighter than traditional constructions helping to reduce swing weight; the new flex from this is designed to give you more control on tricked out presses.

Specs

  • Effective Edge: 109mm (147.75), 112mm (149.5), 114mm (153.25)mm
  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Flat/Camber/Flat
    Flat/Camber/Flat
This profile is very similar to full camber, except that it has a mellower flat area from the bindings out. This will make it more forgiving and easier to do some tricks in the park.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
