CAPiTA Ultrafear FK Snowboard 2013

The CAPiTA Ultrafear FK Snowboard 2013 is rockin' collaged graphics taking little bits and pieces from each board in the Capita line making for an awesome looking board that rides like a true champ. Easy to ride in the park or pow with prepressed positioning for jibbing and a rockered nose for floating in the powder. Get yours now because this board was only produced in very limited quantities.
Rocker Type
Freestyle FK - Dual reverse camber FK freestyle shape. Flat bases from outer insert to outer insert provides stability at high speeds on groomed runs. Elevated contact points turn on a dime and float effortlessly while stomping in powder.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 5, perfect for freestyle riding
Shape
True twin centered stance jib board
Core
DS Select RFC Sustainable Core - The wood has no irregularities or finger joints, which provides the most uniformly flexing core available. Combining poplar and beech woods to create a solid edge hold, chatter elimination at high speeds and contributing more power to ollies and landings. Poplar strips are fused with the beech sections for increased strength and vibration absorption.
Laminates
E Class Custom Weave - Featuring a resin and glass borrowed from the marine industry, this weave yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing for a decreased wood core thickness. This means you get a lighter board while achieving higher energy return. 30 mm carbon fiber wings from the inserts to the contact point offers more pop and power.
Sidewalls
Die Cut Sidewalls with 1.5 mm Dampening System
Base
Wax Infused Rotation Sintered Base - These bases are created by taking pellets of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and compressing them through heat and pressure. The minuscule spaces left behind absorb wax and allow for extended periods of high speed shredding as the wax wicks to the surface while you ride. This prevents your base from drying out and keeps the surface feeling freshly waxed throughout the day. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast, durable, and the overwhelming choice of pro snowboarders worldwide.
Edges
360˚ Steel Edge
Graphics
Silkscreen + Sublimation + Die Cut Combo Base Graphic
Binding Compatibility
4 X 2 inserts

Comments about CAPiTA Ultrafear FK Snowboard 2013:

One of the best boards in the line, ridden by Scott Stevens. This board won the good wood award, which is a process where 18 riders put hundreds of boards to the test under every condition (ice, hard-packed, pow, groomers, etc). Among the few boards who have made this category, the Ultrafear is one of them. Another cool feature is the surface graphic. It took a part of each graphic from each board in the line and created a collaged appearance on the board. The design allows for a flawless all-mountain ride, especially dominating the park. These is a limited board, so get your hands on one ASAP!

Comments about CAPiTA Ultrafear FK Snowboard 2013:

My favorite board ever. Fun in the park to jibbing all over the mountain. Flat between you feet, flat kick rocker in the nose and tail. Great for locking into presses and still poppy off kickers.

i haven't gotten to ride mine yet, but i still would recommend this board to anyone wanting a flexible yet slightly poppy board. sintered base is going to be crazy fast. ultrafears are limited, so buy early. just being in the presence of one is awesome as each one is a total work of art. i preorded mine back in june to guarantee i would have one. now, it's in my dorm room waiting to tear up the slopes. Ultrafear, Ultratight!
