Rocker Type

New Age CamberCapita's freestyle twist on traditional camber. Placing camber between the bindings where it transitions to an entirely flat base 4 cm before the end of the sidecut. The small zero camber sections near the tip and tail provide a more controlled ride while retaining the response and power of a cambered board.

Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)This mild flex is easy to control, playful and fun. It is good for the terrain park and for those starting out, looking to progress their skills.

True TwinRide switch, regular, or upside down, this board won't care; completely symmetrical from tip to tail.

Bitter End Deflection Tuning | Radial SidecutA radial sidecut is a single radius design that allows your board to start and finish a turn on the same arc.

RFC Sustainable Core™Eco-friendly core construction. RFC cores are made with a single species of Poplar grain, creating a smooth and consistent ride. The wood has no knots or joints to ensure you have a responsive ride with a uniform flex pattern.

Form 6 Fiberglass ConfigurationConsisting of biaxial fiberglass placed on both the base and topside of the core. Each layer has fibers oriented in zero and 90-degree angles. The result is a durable, predictable board that initiates turns easily with forgiving pop to handle variable conditions.

HMC Extruded BaseHigh molecular composition extruded base material is inexpensive, fast and durable. Capita's HMC is low maintenance, user-friendly and will perform well with or without constant TLC.

Die-cut Base | Multitech™ SilkscreenBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Comments about CAPiTA Thunderstick Snowboard 2016:

This is a fun and forgiving board. It keeps a good edge, and you get a relaxing ride down the mountain. You can push this board pretty hard on the slopes, but it has some vibration and stability issues. I've had my binding strap screws wiggle loose when I push it fast. A solid board in the park. I had no problem holding a line and setting up.
