Burton Process Flying V Snowboard 2013

Like to play by the rules most of the time, but feel the need to break loose and fly every once in a while? Go both ways with the Burton Process Flying V Snowboard, with its subtle blend of camber and rocker, Super Fly® core and lightning fast sintered base. The Channel mounting system allows micro-adjustment of stance angles and width, and it's compatible with most bindings.
Rocker Type
Flying V™ - A blend of Camber and Rocker, for the best of both worlds: rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for added pop and power through turns.
Flex
Flex Rating:3 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - A medium flex for easy turn initiation and forgiving landings
Directional - Increased stiffness in the tail with a more flexible tip for easy float and better control in all terrain and snow conditions
Infinite Ride™ - This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Shape
Pro-Tip™ - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Sidecut
Twin-Like - Whether riding regular or switch, get the freestyle feel of a twin shape with improved float and control through variable terrain and conditions.
Core
Super Fly® Core - Lightened up and loaded with pop, this vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response.
Dual Zone™ EGD™ - Engineered Grain Direction manipulates the angles and direction of wood grains in the core for superior edge-hold, response, and durability.
Laminates
Triax™ Fiberglass - Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred
Jumper Cables - Ultra-light carbon stringers radiate energy outward from your feet towards the tip and tail. The result is greater pop and snap when powering through turns without sacrificing the board’s overall playful feel. For maximum flight, Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage use carbonated rods for ultra-electrified pop and performance.
Sidewalls
10:45™ Sidewalls - 10:45’s extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in better impact absorption and durability.
Base
Sintered - Fast and durable base that holds wax well, 20% recycled content
Diecut Base Color - Combinations may vary
Edges
Frostbite Edges - Edges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edgehold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining forgiving in softer conditions.
Additional Features
Smooth Ride - Internal dampening lets you ride faster through rough terrain with more control and less impact on your body.
Scoop - Exagerated tip and tail scooping turns up the edges for a looser, more forgiving feel.
Hi-Speed Quad Package - Adding performance, speed, and strength while reducing weight with results even a novice will immediately appreciate, you will find many of Burton's team riders on these boards.
Binding Compatibility
The Channel - Gives you the ability to micro adjust your stance and is compatible with Burton EST™, Re:Flex™ and Disc bindings, as well as bindings from Forum, Drake, Union, Flow, Flux, Ride, and K2 with adapter

Comments about Burton Process Flying V Snowboard 2013:

I'm an all mountain guy, I was looking for a soft, fun board that I could still charge with if I wanted and this is definitely the ticket. Beautiful board (honestly makes you kind of sad when it gets dings) however, it is a tough board that can absorb a lot of damage. It does slip a little on ice, but it has a great hold on almost everything else, and is very stable and catch free. I love it.
