Product Info

We're not sure what process Burton is referring to with the Burton Process Flying V Snowboard, but that is irrelevant. What we do know is the Burton Process is the Tornado that will whip you outta' Kansas and drop you in Oz. Rails, Jumps, and Groomers, oh daaa-a-ang! The Burton Process has Flying V shape for a smooth ride, whether buttering or sliding rails. Made for riding the park and firm snow, the Burton Process will lead you past those hatin-witches and right to the Wizard. That's right, your shred will even impress the Magic Man. Take your skills straight to the top with the Process, Dorothy!

Rocker Type

Flying V™A blend of camber and rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside of your feet, enhances playfulness and float. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, and powerful turns.

Flex

Twin FlexHaving a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.

Shape

Scoop Pro-Tip™Burton's Scoop feature combined with Pro-Tip™ achieves a catch-free ride in the park, on the groomers or in the backcountry. This design exaggerates the tip and tail by turning up the edges creating a playful and forgiving ride.

True TwinA true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch and do some tricks. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.

Pro-Tip™A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Core

Super Fly II™The Super Fly ll™ core uses stronger and lighter woods in specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduce weight; creating a further optimized float in Burton's freeride focused boards, and strength in Burton's park-focused boards.

Dualzone™ EGD™The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold, and added strength.

SqueezeboxBurton's Squeezebox improves your boards performance by balancing thicker more powerful core sections in with thinner more flexible sections. In translation, Squeezebox enhances your connectivity to your snowboard which will create an amazingly stable, responsive and predictable ride.

Laminates

Triax™ FiberglassThis laminate gives the board an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. The result is a board that remains smooth and stable.

Base

Sintered BaseSintered bases are super-fast. Polyethylene pellets are forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Sintered bases absorb hot wax really well.

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Edges

Frostbite EdgesFrostbite edges extend out slightly beneath bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don't, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining smooth, flowing, and forgiving.

Additional Features

Infinite Ride™Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Binding Compatibility

The Channel™Gives you the quickest, easiest way to mount your bindings with the most stance options possible: Take control of your stance and your board like never before, micro-adjust your width and angles with ALL major binding formats including EST®, Re:Flex™, and Disc. M6 hardware means it's compatible with all major binding companies, making it a choice for any rider.
