Tired of flailing your way down the mountain and feeling about as graceful as a sack of potatoes? Lighten up with the Burton Feather Snowboard. This board is laid-back and relaxed from tip to tail and combines the float of V-Rocker™ with Cruise Control to lift the edges and soften the flex. The Feather's tapered shape adds float and makes turning effortless for improved riding all day long; the twin flex makes it equally fun no matter which way you point it. If you are determined to get better, the Feather is for you.
Rocker Type
V-Rocker™ - Continuous rocker between your feet and in front of your feet towards the tip and tail creates catch-free playfulness and improved float from peak to park.

Flex
Flex Rating: 2 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - Soft flex for freestyle forgiveness, powder floatation and catch-free tricks
Twin Flex - The flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that's equally versatile regular or switch.
Shape
Directional Shape - The classic, most versatile snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow and control to rip any terrain or condition. [3-6mm taper depending on size]
Core
Womens True Flex Super Fly Core - Lightened up and loaded with pop, this vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response. It's further optimized for float in the freeride focused boards and strength in park-focused boards.
Laminates
Biax™ Fiberglass - Features a jib-friendly, torsionally soft flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel
Base
Extruded Base - Speed, strength and graphical pop in a base that requires little maintenance - pass your friends without even waxing.
Diecut Base Color - Combinations may vary
Graphics
Artist - Todd Chilton [www.toddchilton.com]
Additional Features
Cruise Control - Boosts confidence with the catch-free combo of a softer flex and mellower edge tune. On tapered boards like the Clash™ and Feather™, the nose is fully convex for all-terrain stability, whereas twins like the Lyric are convex at the nose and tail for freestyle fun regular or switch.
Binding Compatibility
The Channel - Gives you the quickest, easiest way to mount your bindings with the most stance options possible: Take control of your stance and your board like never before, micro-adjust your width and angles with ALL major binding formats including EST®, Re:Flex™, and Disc. M6 hardware means it's compatible with all major binding companies, making it a choice for any rider.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
