New this season, Burton
introduces the Burton
Family Tree Flight Attendant Snowboard. Designed by team rider Nicolas Müller, the Flight Attendant wants to take creative expression to natural, freeride terrain. Featuring Burton
's S-Rocker, this freeride pow board has rocker in the nose for effortless float and camber from the front foot through the tail for power and stability. The FSC™ Super Fly II™ core and GMP Mountain Dew® Recycled PET topsheet reduce the board's carbon footprint to make sure there are plenty of winters to come. Nico might be onto something with this all-terrain ripper - the Burton
Family Tree Flight Attendant Snowboard.
S-Rocker™ - Speed and float are your friends, and that's what S-Rocker™ is all about. Entry rocker extends from the nose to under your front foot, then transitions to camber between your feet. Compressing the camber causes the entry rocker to lift the nose, thus improving float while maintaining momentum and stability through deep-driving pow turns and variable conditions.
Directional Flex - This flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.
Infinite Ride™ - This Burton-exclusive technology allows Burton to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Directional - The classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition.
Balanced Freeride Geometry - Twin or directional? Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the debate with setback camber and sidecut that are centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.
Taper: 10 mm - A tapered shaped mean the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow floatation.
Pro-Tip™ - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ - Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduce weight. Further optimized for float in Burton's freeride focused boards, and strength in Burton's park-focused boards.
Squeezbox - This improves performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from where it originates beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board more stable and easily manipulated.
Dualzone™ EGD™ - The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
Triax™ Fiberglass - Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.
Carbon I-Beam™ - This ultra-light carbon backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap.
Sintered WFO Base - Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays Wide F!#@ing Open all season.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
GMP Mountain Dew™ Recycled PET Topsheet
