Light, floaty and ethereal, the Burton Family Tree Con Artist Snowboard is a super maneuverable compact board that just begs to be ridden in tight trees with 2 feet of fresh. A directional shape with a blunt tail, S-Rocker™ and Hi-Voltage laminates for immediate rail-to-rail response lets you change direction as soon as you think "turn," and the wide nose with 20 mm of taper floats in the deepest of the deep. Don't con yourself, this board is the real deal.
S-Rocker™ Entry rocker extends from the nose to under your front foot, then transitions to camber between your feet. Compressing the camber causes the entry rocker to naturally lift the nose, improving float and stability through deep-driving pow turns and variable conditions.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) 5, A medium flex for easy turning and forgiving freestyle moves
Infinite Ride™ This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Pro-Tip™ A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Directional with Taper Designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop while allowing the tip to rise and tail to drop slightly in deep snow
20 mm of tail taper
Draonfly™ Core Over 300 independent laminations, each individually oriented within the core, result in superior weight-savings, strength, and energized response.
Multizone EGD™ Perpendicular wood grain orientation in four zones adjacent to The Channel for increased strength and riding precision
Carbon Highlights Hi-Voltage Carbon Highlights optimize each layer of the fiberglass matrix and add a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce overall weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. A 60° fiber angle creates a highly maneuverable and playful feel, while a 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride. In select Hi-Voltage models, the addition of carbon strands to the angled fiber layers adds life and further reduces weight.
Lightning Bolts Hi-Voltage Radiating outward from beneath your feet, these energy transfer strands allow us to make the board more responsive without making it stiff. The Hi-Voltage version features energy transfer strands woven into the fiberglass both above and below the board’s core for better power and response.
Slimrail A streamlined, ultra-minimized sidewall design shaves weight without sacrificing edge-hold, strength or rideabiliy.

Diecut Base Color Combinations may vary
Stainless Steel Edges 90% recycled content edges stay sharp and resist rust.

Comments about Burton Family Tree Con Artist Snowboard 2013:
after riding twins for years getting a 4-6cm shorter board seemed counter intuitive but after 1-2 runs and adjusting my style this board was extremely manueverable stable and as soon as I went off piste into the woods the taper cam alive and the nose of the board "popped" out of the snow. It was practically impossible to sink the nose even in moderate powder. Excellent choice to ride groomers and "duck" a rope to hit choice goods at trail's edge.
