Rocker Type
Camber - When talking about powerful turns and poppy precision, camber speaks to the core values of board
design. Offering snappy energy for turn initiation and tricks, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of
the board allowing for smooth, continuous control from tip to tail.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 7, Stiffer flex for power and control
Twin - The flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that's equally versatile regular or switch.
Infinite Ride™ - This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Shape
Pro-Tip™ - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Directional - The most versatile snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to while still giving you plenty of float, flow and control to rip any terrain
Wide - Select boards offer versions of their
signature rides in wider platforms that
are redesigned from the ground up
for the larger-footed rider.
Sidecut
Twin - It's perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability.
Core
Draonfly™ Core - Over 300 independent laminations,
each individually oriented within the
core, result in superior weight-savings,
strength, and energized response.
Multizone EGD™ - Perpendicular wood grain orientation in four zones adjacent to The Channel for increased strength and riding precision
Squeezebox - This improves performance through
the balance of thicker, more
powerful core sections with
thinner, more flexible sections.
Rider energy is transferred
outward from where it originates
beneath the feet, energizing
the tip and tail while making the
board more stable and easily
manipulated.
Laminates
Carbon Highlights Hi-Voltage - Carbon Highlights optimize
each layer of the fiberglass
matrix and add a full tip-to-tail
carbon layer to reduce overall
weight and fine tune torsional
feel to achieve different ride
characteristics. A 60° fiber angle
creates a highly maneuverable
and playful feel, while a 45°
fiber angle provides a more
aggressive ride. In select Hi-Voltage
models, the addition of
carbon strands to the angled
fiber layers adds life and further
reduces weight.
Lightning Bolts - Radiating outward
from beneath your
feet, these energy
transfer strands allow
us to make the board
more responsive without making it
stiff. The Hi-Voltage version features
energy transfer strands woven into
the fiberglass both above and below
the board’s core for better power and response.
Base
Sintered WFO - Super fast base that retains wax well, 50% recycled content
Diecut Base Color - Combinations may vary
Edges
Frostbite Edges - Edges beneath your
bindings extend
out slightly for
tremendous edgehold
on hard, icy conditions. Powerful
when you need them, playful when
you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry
for hard-pack while remaining forgiving in softer conditions.
Stainless Steel Edges - 90% recycled content edges stay sharp and resist rust.
