The Burton Clash Snowboard was built for a baller on a budget. The Clash is a do it all board that will get you on a fast-track through the basics or take you through a season across the entire mountain with style. A classic directional deck with a slightly tapered nose that promotes smooth and forgiving turns, it's nice to know that even though the price is low, you still have Burton's tech and high quality construction, like the high-performing Super Fly® core. Bendy, friendly, and ready for a true shred-session, the Burton Clash Snowboard is a true catch-free cruiser.
Rocker Type
Flat Top - A flat profile between the feet means stability, better balance, and continuous edge control. The tip and tail kick up with an early rise outside the feet for the catch-free, loose feeling you’d expect from rocker.

Flex
Soft and Playful - At cruising speed, this snowboard is forgiving, playful, and great for progressing. Riders of all ability levels will appreciate the many easy-riding characteristics of a soft snowboard.
Twin Flex - Having a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.
Shape
Directional [3 - 6MM Taper] - A tapered directional shape means the nose is wider than the tail, and the sidecuts are not symmetrical. This combo promotes smooth and forgiving turns, stability - even at high speeds - and effortless float in deeper snow.
Core
FSC™ Certified Super Fly® 800G Core - Light and poppy! This muli-species wood core is constructed with dual-density vertical laminations of alternating wood weights. This produces an extremely lightweight snowboard with long-lasting performance. FSC™ certification ensures that the wood products are harvested from well-managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
Dualzone™ EDG™ - The wood grain is positioned perpendicularly along the toe and heel edges. Engineered Grain Direction provides you with consistent edge-hold and added strength.
Squeezebox Low - Burton's Squeezebox improves your boards performance by balancing thicker more powerful core sections in with thinner more flexible sections. Meaning you get enhanced board connectivity, response and predictability.

Laminates
Biax™ Fiberglass - Gives the board a jib and park friendly feel by softening the torsional flex.
Base
Extruded - Speed, strength and pop in a base that requires little maintenance.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Cruise Control Edge Tune - Boosts confidence with catch free a mellower edge tune.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Flat
    Flat
A flat profile is just as you’d expect – flat from near the tip of the board to near the tail. This shape splits the difference between camber and rocker, with more forgiving turnability than a fully cambered board and more precise edging capability than a fully rockered one
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
