Burton Clash Snowboard 2013

Burlington calling. LIke the iconic British band of the '80's, the Burton Clash Snowboard is bent on breaking down barriers - in this case, the twin walls of performance and price. Perfect for all mountain freestylers on a budget, the Clash combines a tapered directional shape with full length V-Rocker™ and Burton's lightweight Fly® core.
Rocker Type
V-Rocker - Continuous rocker between your feet and in front of your feet towards the tip and tail creates catch-free playfulness and improved float from peak to park.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 2, Soft flex for freestyle forgiveness, powder floatation and catch-free tricks
Twin - The flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that's equally versatile regular or switch.
Sidecut
Directional with Taper - Designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop while allowing the tip to rise and tail to drop slightly in deep snow
3-6 mm Taper depending on size
Core
Fly® Core - Burton's classic tip to tail wood core, constantly improved upon in terms of flex, feel, pop, and strength
Laminates
Biax™ Fiberglass - Features a jib-friendly, low-torsional flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel
Base
Extruded Base - Durable and low maintenance; 40% recycled content
Edges
Cruise Control Edge Tune - This catch-free edge tune combines with rocker to help your progression and make good riders even better.
Additional Features
Double Chair Package - Burton begins where many other companies consider the top of the line. A great place to start, you'll be riding the same boards as some of the best riders out there.

Comments about Burton Clash Snowboard 2013:

This board is a great all mountain board. Very forgiving for beginners but also good for advanced riders. I've had it down several black diamonds and double blacks and it performs really well. The board is light and soft with a lot of flex...almost too much for me. Evo also had it listed cheaper than anyone else.

First season as a new snowboarder. Great beginners board. Top surface is very slick, so I bought a stomp patch.
