With the Burton Clash Snowboard, the shred-liner has finally come to port. Loaded with technology at a price that won't sink your wallet, the Clash is a beaut' to behold. V-Rocker, directional shape, and cruise control edge tune make this board super user friendly and forgiving, so you don't get decked with every small mistake. Snowboarding is all about having a good time with the crew, and the Burton Clash knows that. Everything about this board has been optimized for maximum stoke-factor when shredding.
Rocker Type
V-Rocker™ - Continuous rocker between your feet and outside your feet towards the tip and tail creates catch-free playfulness and improved float from peak to park.
Cruise Control - Full convex nose for all-terrain stability and ease of turn initiation.
Flex
Twin Flex - The flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that's equally versatile regular or switch.
Shape
Directional - The classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition.
Taper: 3-6 mm (depending on size) - A tapered shaped mean the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow flotation.
Core
Super Fly® Core - Lightened up and loaded with pop, this vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response. Further optimized for float in Burton freeride focused boards, and strength in Burton park-focused boards.
Squeezebox Low - With an easier feel that requires less effort to control, Squeezebox Low brings high-end core profiling to the progressing or park rider.
Laminates
Biax™ Fiberglass - Features a jib-friendly, torsion ally soft flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel.
Base
Extruded Base - Speed, strength and graphical pop in a base that requires little maintenance - pass your friends without even waxing.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Cruise Control Edge Tune - Boosts confidence with catch free a mellower edge tune
Binding Compatibility
The Channel - Gives you the quickest, easiest way to mount your bindings with the most stance options possible: Take control of your stance and your board like never before, micro-adjust your width and angles with ALL major binding formats including EST®, Re:Flex™, and Disc. Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
