Burton Antler Snowboard 2013

Much, much better than a mounted trophy over the fireplace, the Burton Antler Snowboard is a new for 2013 model that adds "playful" and "soft" to the lexicon of the performance board. Built with Burton's best tech components like 60˚ Carbon Hi-Voltage and Lightning Bolts Hi-Voltage reinforcement, a Dragonfly™ ultralight core, and super fast Sintered WFO base, the Antler will let you add a new dimension to your riding.
Rocker Type
Flying V™ - A blend of Camber and Rocker, for the best of both worlds: rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for added pop and power through turns.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft-10 Stiff) - 4, A medium flex for easy turning and forgiving freestyle moves
Twin - The flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that's equally versatile regular or switch.
Infinite Ride™ - This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Shape
Ellip Kicks - An elliptical tip and tail shape that promotes pop and improves float and clearance in pow and variable snow
Pro-Tip™ - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Scoop - This exaggerated tip and tail scooping turns up the edges for a looser, more forgiving feel.
Sidecut
Twin-Like - Whether riding regular or switch, get the freestyle feel of a twin shape with improved float and control through variable terrain and conditions.
Core
Draonfly™ Core - Over 300 independent laminations, each individually oriented within the core, result in superior weight-savings, strength, and energized response.
Multizone EGD™ - Perpendicular wood grain orientation in four zones adjacent to The Channel for increased strength and riding precision
Squeezebox - This improves performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from where it originates beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board more stable and easily manipulated.

Laminates
Carbon Highlights Hi-Voltage - Carbon Highlights optimize each layer of the fiberglass matrix and add a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce overall weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. A 60° fiber angle creates a highly maneuverable and playful feel, while a 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride. In select Hi-Voltage models, the addition of carbon strands to the angled fiber layers adds life and further reduces weight.
Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage - Ultra-light carbon stringers radiate energy outward from your feet towards the tip and tail. The result is greater pop and snap when powering through turns without sacrificing the board’s overall playful feel. For maximum flight, Jumper Cables Hi-Voltage use carbonated rods for ultra-electrified pop and performance.
Lightning Bolts Hi-Voltage - Radiating outward from beneath your feet, these energy transfer strands allow us to make the board more responsive without making it stiff. The Hi-Voltage version features energy transfer strands woven into the fiberglass both above and below the board’s core for better power and response.
Base
Sintered WFO - Super fast base that retains wax well, 50% recycled content
Diecut Base Color - Combinations may vary
Edges
Frostbite Edges - Edges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edgehold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining forgiving in softer conditions.
Stainless Steel Edges - 90% recycled content edges stay sharp and resist rust.
Topsheet
20-30% Recycled Content
Graphics
Eliminated printing chemicals - uses more eco-friendly inks then traditional printing methods
Additional Features
Tram Package - The ultra high end technologies pushed even further in search of unmatched weight, strength and shredability.
Binding Compatibility
The Channel - Gives you the ability to micro adjust your stance and is compatible with Burton EST™, Re:Flex™ and Disc bindings, as well as bindings from Forum, Drake, Union, Flow, Flux, Ride, and K2 with adapter

Burton Antler 160.5

Comments about Burton Antler Snowboard 2013:

This is a fun twintip that has a stiff tip and tail. It has a medium flex in the waist. The Antler has Flying V Rocker with the Dragon Fly II core (like the Custom X) I had the Antler paired up with the Cartels which made for a super playful ride... When you charge the stiffer tip and tail allow you to eat up the bumps.
