Bataleon Goliath Wide Snowboard 2012: A true lady, you’ll want to take with you everywhere; take this baby to the slopes, park or some nice tree lines because this board is all good all over the mountain! A true one-board quiver, the 2012 Bataleon Goliath Wide will amaze you time and again. The TBT tip and tail concave comes with lots of preloaded pop that will explode so big you’d think it was TNT. The Freestyle TBT tech is like having a get out of jail free card up your sleeve on sketchy landings, and the pre-shaped base is so smooth on edge it’s like skating with brand new wheels – er’day.
Flex
Flex Rating: (1stiff – 10 soft) 6 moderately flex, for the perfect amount of stability and softness (Note: Bataleon operates of a flex rating, not measured by stiffness. A more flexible board will have a higher number rating associated with it.)
The Bataleon Goliath features Freestyle TBT, which is Bataleon's most all-around Triple Base Tech version. Fast edge to edge transitions, freestyle looseness and overall stability make this board optimal for a rider looking to go big in and out of the park.
Construction and Core
Core Core is a poplar core with hardwood enforcements along insert rows, increasing core strength and channeling all your energy into more pop.
The Tri-ax laminates over and under the core delivers precision in your riding
The Precise Pattern for binding placement is a 4x2/ 20 insert pack that enables you to put your bindings on with scientific precision
Shape
Traditional Camber
Freestyle TBT (Triple Base Tech) tip and tial concave that comes preloaded with pop
3/4" setback
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
Sintered Base has great wax absorption and is still tough, but have to be waxed more regularly than an extruded base to get the most out of them.
The Lighting Edges is thinner enabling you to carve with more feel and precision

Comments about Bataleon Goliath Wide Snowboard 2012:

Bataleon snowboards rock. Tbt is the best thing since edges. All bataleon boards are cambered with triple base technology, making the fastest, mist stable, most forgiving ride possible. I've landed 50 footers near sideways due to too fast or too slow of a rotation, but with tbt I don't have to even think about catching an edge, just turn out and its clean! Been snowboarding for 17 years, and tbt has opened a while new world if snowboarding to me :) smile, its snowboarding!

Comments about Bataleon Goliath Wide Snowboard 2012:

I have been rideing the evil twin for years, which is also a rad snowboard, this last year I switched to the Goliath and it is the best board I have ridden!! I ride it centered and ride on everything deep pow to park all around epic. I think that everyone should try the triple base technology.
