Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 7-9 Stiff: with Flex Control System
Flex Control System - Removable tongue stiffeners allow riders to custom tune their boot flex. Keep them both in for maximum support, use just one to provide either increased lateral or medial response, or remove them entirely for a softer flexing boot. Over the course of a season, as your boots soften up, you can add the tongue stiffeners back in to give them new life.

Custom-X - Exterior overlay support cage, direct connect hook and loop system prevents liner movement, closed seam, brushed fleece cuff; outlast temperature management and directional anti-slip heel pocket
X-Cage - The adjustable X-Cage works in harmony with the bone and ligament structures of the ankle to create an anatomically sound and supportive fit.
Comfort Flex toe box

The V4 Footbed with outlast features a high rebound EVA foundation which provides for molded multi-arch support. Dual density metatarsal and heel impact relief gel pads, Outlast® thermal regulating top sheet, along with airflow perforations provide for supreme comfort in all conditions.
V-Hex Outsole with ImpactSorb - The Van's Snowaffle Series of outsoles are designed to optimize feel and control, minimize the impact absorbed during hard landings, and reduce potential foot fatigue created by long days shredding. New for this year, the V-Hex feature EVA midsole construction for lightweight performance and aggressive perimeter tacky rubber Hex-lug pattern for maximum traction in wet and slippery conditions.
TPU arch and cradle for additional support
Full rubber wrap foxing and ImpactSorb® dampening cassette in the heel

  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Lacing System: Boa®
  • Warranty: 1 Year
