Medium Flex Optimized for park and rail riding, this flex won't collapse on you, but still offers articulation for presses.
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) A medium flex great for freestyle moves and general freeriding.
Heel Grip Specific Cat-Tongue material at the heel so your socks are perfectly gripped into the boots for increased heel-hold.
Custom Fit For increased comfort and max foothold, Custom Fit has heat moldable foam strategically placed in the sensitive areas of the foot, shin, ankle and heel.
Silver Flex Liner Displaces liner lace pressure from the top of your foot, around the key holding areas of the ankle, and above the heel. Extra Mid Flex pad over the ankle area to team up comfort and response.
ZoneLock Lacing System ZoneLock offers a lower zone locker on the side of the boot in addition to the locker on the tongue. Customize your fit, one zone at a time, with optimal wrapping support and outstanding heel hold.
Ortholite C2 Footbeds Ortholite footbeds create a cooler, drier, healthier, and better cushioned enviornment for your foot. They do not break down over time and stay cushy and comfortable ride after ride.
Flight Outsole EVA + rubber compound outsole is specifically engineered for an extremely lightweight, cushioned, and low-profile freestyle feel.
Wash & Wear Technology Glueless liner construction, so you can fight the foot funk by merely dropping your liners in the wash.

Comments about Salomon Launch Snowboard Boots 2017:
even though the rating is five I would rate it around a 4-3 flex. did collapse quite easy after a few day . also feels like it may need a bit more pressure on the shin.
