Flex Rating: 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) – The optimal flexibility for intermediate-advance and expert freestyle riders.
Fit
Easy In – Easier and faster to get in. Featuring a gliding patch that is placed at the entrance of the liner for heel glide and easier entry.
Heel Grip – Cat-tongue like material reinforced at the heel helps grip your socks to the inside of the boot for an increased heel-hold.
Liner
Fusion Liner – Unique to Salomon F Series boots, the Fusion liners feature Low Center of Gravity plus mesh channels and one-way valves to circulate and channel air away from your foot. The result is superior long-term comfort and drier feet.
Breathable Valve – A one-way valve to keep moisture out and exhaust old air, that would otherwise break down your liner and decrease comfort.
Lacing System
Wrap Lock – Wrap Lock lace systems use a three-panel design and fused liner to create a low profile closure that secures the heel extremely well and adapts to a variety of leg and ankle shapes.
Footbed
Ortholite C3 Footbed – High density base + memory foam layer + an EVA heelcup for maximum comfort, support, and fit.
Sole
Flightweight – One of the lightest outsoles in Solomon's range, this new EVA + rubber compound outsole is specifically engineered for an extremely lightweight, cushiony and low-profile freestyle feel.

Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
