Flex Rating: 6 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) – A stiff flex for all-mountain freeriding but soft enough for the park
Fit
Reflex Construction – Reflex Construction features a cuff design that moves naturally from heel to calf. Hike a booter, build a backyard jib, or cruise some corduroy in perfect comfort - Reflex is made for smooth moving power, in or out of your binding.
Custom Fit – For increased comfort and max foothold, CUSTOM FIT has heat-moldable foam strategically placed in the sensitive areas of the foot, shin, ankle and heel.
Liner
Balance Liner 2 Compact – This is the second of four levels of construction based on the same design philosophy. Balance Liner 2 displaces liner lace pressure from the top of your foot, and concentrates it around the key holding areas of the arch and heel. Tightening the liner lace wraps the ankle firmly, yet comfortably, rather than putting all the pressure on top of the foot.
Lacing System
Zone Lock – With an outstanding heel hold and the ability to customize your fit one zone at a time with wrapping support, Zone Lock gives you a secure and comfortable lacing system.
Footbed
Mystic Footbed – The only antimicrobial footbed in snowboarding that will increase blood circulation to keep your feet snug, warm and will prevent fatigue, Mystic's bamboo based powers will help keep your feet smelling fresh even when you're working up a sweat on the mountain.
Sole
Lo-Fi – The Lo-Fi is Salomon's low profile designed outsole, inspired by its favorite skate shoes. Strategic, dual EVA foam dampening is combined with rubber for extra grip.

Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
