Product Info

If you're going to spend a lot of time in the saddle, opt for the Ride Lasso Boa Snowboard Boots. With an articulated cuff and quick action Boa® lacing both internally and externally, the Lassos will have you pinning it through chokes, lacing technical airs, and riding smooth even after things get churned up. The Michelin® Summit Outsoles offer lightweight traction when you cowboy up and push out across that windswept ridgeline, while the Intuition™ liners wrap up tighter than a stubborn calf out on the back forty. Dial in your fit and push on with confidence no matter how blown out things get after the last storm.

Firm and well made

Comments about Ride Lasso Boa Snowboard Boots 2017:

I debated between these in and the Burton Photon when looking for a firm BOA boot that had a small footprint (I wear size 12). So, I'll compare the 2 after wearing both:

Liner: The Photons were a hair more comfortable, but they have velcro at the top with kept me from cinching it as tight as the Lassos

Footprint: Both were a bit larger than I expected. My other pair are Burton Rulers from a couple of years ago which are surprisingly shorter than both. The Photon is a hair smaller but wider.

BOA System: Burton wins because the lower and upper cables were fully independent. Also, the cables are on some kind of spring so you don't have to dial as much to tighten them.

Construction: Lassos win because it's better built around the ankle. The Photons were already starting to get crows feet around the bend end the ankle. Lassos look like they'll hold stiffness longer.

So I stuck with the Lassos, because they're so similar, but $80 less at retail. They've held up well on mountain so far. Turn initiation is easy. Shock absorption is good on jumps. I would recommend if you want the double BOA, and you're on steeper more advance runs where you want quick response.

Comments about Ride Lasso Boa Snowboard Boots 2017:

Nice, nice, nice! Stuff flex, support in all the places I need it, and confidence-inspiring. The Lasso is extremely easy to get on and get dialed in. Said goodbye to to heel lift as soon as I stepped into these boots, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Great boots

Comments about Ride Lasso Boa Snowboard Boots 2017:

Great boots. I haven't had them too long and have used them without molding them. I am molding them this break and excited to use them once that's done. I've only used thin socks so these warm well but after long durations can start to get cold.
