For those in the transitional phase between buying and renting their own gear, the DC Phase Snowboard Boots are a good place to start your collection. Proven performance in a lightweight design, the Phases offer a versatile medium flex that is ideal for progression. Loaded with a plush EVA footbed and Red Liner to ensure long-lasting comfort from day 1 to day 100, along with a UniLite™ outsole which combines durability with fatigue-reducing vibration absorption. There's no doubt about it, the Phase Snowboard Boots are a sure-fire way to improve your snow day.
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - These boots feature an extremely versatile, all-mountain flex.
The Red Liner - Pure Performance. A classic inner lace closure system around the multi-layer construction includes EVA memory foam and thermal regulating fleece lining. You get unquestionable comfort and a perfect fit.
Lacing System
Traditional Lacing - Strategically designed overlays in the boots' upper provide more power and leverage for optimal shell closure and custom fit. This system prevents lace slippage by simply wrapping around the locking lace hook hardware. This design turns traditional lacing into a zonal closure system.
The Snow Basic Insole - The insole features die-cut EVA for comfort and durability and an outer layer of moisture-wicking fabric.
UniLite™ Foundation Outsole - DC's lightest outsole. Made of 100% UniLite™ it provides essential durability, dampening and cushioning while drastically reducing the boots overall weight. The snow-shredding traction pattern on the Foundation is designed for secure ascent and descent as well as skating with one foot strapped in.

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Lacing System: Traditional
  • Warranty: 1 Year
