Comments about Burton Emerald Snowboard Boots - Women's 2016:
I was so psyched about these boots and this "tru-fit" lacing system or whatever it's called. However, after two years of not being able to figure out where all these extra laces go and having a weird pull tab thing coming out of its designated "place" and tripping me up on the slopes. It takes forever to lace these, and they need to be adjusted often which also takes forever. I asked probably a dozen people - mostly snowboard instructors, boardshop employees, and even an owner of a prominent boardshop who knew everything else boots you could know, how in the heck you properly lace these things, and everyone was at a loss. I switched to a Boa system and am very, very happy. Good idea, poor design and execution.
