Watch your grom become a snow aficionado with the Burton Ambush Smalls Snowboard Boots. Made for kids just starting out to those gaining more skill, the Ambush Smalls Boots will keep your kiddo comfortable with a forgiving flex and a liner, footbed and outsole that was made with their foot shape in mind. The Speed Zone™ lacing system means that they won't have to spend all their time lacing up and can get out on the slopes that much faster. Your little dude or dudette is going to be pro before you know it.
Flex
Wishbone Upper Cuff - The Wishbone Cuff defies convention, combining power and freedom into one. Picking up where the Crossbone Cuff left off, it features Jumper Cables on both the medial and lateral sides for twice the snap, rebound, and life without sacrificing the high tweakability of a softer boot. Featured on the Ambush, Felix, and NEW Ambush Smalls.
Flex Rating: 3 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest) - A soft, forgiving flex perfect for new riders looking to progress their skills or for advanced riders who want a soft park boot.
Liner
Youth Imprint™ Liner - Integrated liner lacing and inner lace lock, heat-moldable, fit panels, level 1 molded EVA footbed
Lacing System
Speed Zone™ Lacing System for True Zonal Lacing Control - Lightning fast lacing control. Customize the fit of the upper or lower zone in seconds, and because the system is so powerful, you get more rebound, more wrap, and better response - with less effort.
Footbed
Level 1 Molded EVA Footbed - Lightweight and long-lasting shock absorption.
Sole
DynoLite Outsole - Superior cushioning, improved board feel, and consistent support in a 20% lighter weight construction. Made entirely of an exclusive cushioning compound specially formulated to withstand repeated impacts and freezing temps for long lasting shock absorption.

Snow-proof internal gusset

Specs

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Lacing System: Quick-Pull
  • Warranty: 1 Year
