Comments about Adidas Samba Snowboard Boots 2016:
I have been riding for a couple of years now, and for the past season I had been using Burton Moto boots. They were relatively cheap and did the job. When it was time to get new boots I shopped around quite a bit, and was a little apprehensive about ordering them online, but living in Japan (shops here only carry up to a US size 9 for most boots) kind of limited my options. I settled on the ADIDAS Samba boots, and let me tell you, they are soooo nice. I wear a size 10.5/11 street shoe depending on brand and ordering these in an 11 fit perfectly (toes touching, but not pressing against the boot). The liner is very form fitting, and really holds my heel down. There is basically no heel lift at all in these. While the old school lacing system is kind of tedious it really lets you dial in your fit, which is great. There are no awkward pressure points or spots that feel like they are too loose when laced up. As far as flex goes, I know they are rated as a mid flex, but for me they are the stiffest boots I have owned. Despite their stiffness I still find them to be a forgiving boot when I get a little squirly. The footprint is very very small compared to other boots. At a size 11 with a normal width board I don't have any issues with drag.
Great boot, great fit, If you are thinking about getting these I would say do it.
