Injected EVA Bushings - They dampen vibrations underfoot to promote a more comfortable ride and a smooth, even board flex with no dead spots. Each size comes with its own durometer for custom performance.
Universal Discs
Straps
All-New 3D Direct-Connect Strap System - Multi-Layer Tapered Strap Core evenly distributes pressure.

All-New Magnesium Buckles - The magnesium in the buckles is four times the strength of aluminum with only half the weight. Plus, it is easily recycled.
All-New Open Toe Straps - Multi-positional options with open Ultra Grip™ Design
Highback
Multizone Dupont™ Zytel® ST Highbacks - These highbacks are tapered towards the top, providing flex and tweakability where you want it and support and durability where you need it. Made of Dupont™ Zytel® ST for maintaining flexibility and strength in the widest range of temperatures.
Quick-Adjust Forward Lean - Tool Free Adjuster allows on-the-fly forward lean adjustment.
Additional Features
Extruded Anodized Aluminum Heelcups - The strongest and most versatile aluminum heelcup on the market, extruded aluminum comes out 100% pure and maintains its true shape no matter how much wear and tear you inflict. Also, every Union heelcup undergoes an anodizing process—reinforcing the already bombproof apparatus with 30% more strength.
Grade 8.8 Hardware - The most commonly used hardware is made from "mild steel" that has a property class of only 4.6. Considering how much stress a binding goes through, Union uses only the highest-strength steel, with a property class of 8.8.

New to snowsports in general but wanted decent equipment to start with in hopes to build my skills. Union Force bindings are dont fix if it aint broke design. Its bullet proof commen sence design that doesnt need to change & IMO look aggressive. After 8-10 times up to the mountain this year Im happy with the forces. The bindings hug my feet snug & evenly without pressure points. The straps are strong yet forgiving after 15-20 runs.1-10 on stiffness I would give them a 7. They are made with dupoint stage II plastic's which is known for workhorse like dependability. They are a go-to binding on the mountain. Gets the job done without the bells and whistles even an expert would enjoy these. The forces offer good padding in the highback to baseplate with a enjoyable flex. The straps are form fitting to your boots and just feels right. My only complaint is the left foot toe strap sticks often when trying to release..annoying

I ordered these bindings last season on the number of good reviews that I read online. However, they have been nothing but a hassle from the very beginning. In colder weather, the toe strap is almost impossible to unfasten. On my second day with these bindings, a piece fell out of my ankle strap while I was riding. I noticed this when I got to the bottom of the mountain and the ankle strap was only being held on by the ratchet. I brought these concerns to th EVO staff and the response was a simple, "We do not accept returns." It's safe to say that this is my last pair of Union bindings and when I need new gear, EVO will not be the retailer that I use.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2013:

These bindings are exactly says: solid and responsive. I came from Flights and these Forces really showed me just how soft my Flights are. Only complaint is that the ratchets were a little sticky.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2013:

These bindings are super popular around the local shops that I had to order mine online.

On my first run with these I noticed that they are superbly comfortable! They look great and overall looks like its made well.

However, both toe clips for me are super difficult to release. Not sure why. Also after my first run down the mountain the back plastic piece (on the highback) fell off super easily and got lost. I emailed Union and they are sending me additional pieces free of charge.

Other than those two cons, I love them so far. Hopefully no other problems.

Great Versatility in a Binding

By T-Pain

from Stevens Pass,

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2013:

Rode these bindings with the softer DOA. Felt that they reacted well with one another, both being a mid flex option. The Forces felt like one of the most versitile bindings in the line. As a park rider I prefer the softer flex that they offer, however I didn't hve any problems in deeper snow. Ratchets were a little sticky on a side note.

It needs an wax job as soon as it is unwrapped. Then one will be able to enjoy the deck. A little too flexible for my taste but it is a FUN board

I read a review that the screws to the straps would come loose. I tightened them before my first ride but one fell out halfway through my first day using them. Lucky it was at the base of the mountain and not while riding.

I got these because of other good reviews read online. These are the first set I bought after renting, so I don't have a lot of experience. They were easy to install. Adjusting the various angles and strap lengths is also very easy, even for someone without prior experience. They seem very well built, although I have only used them for five days so far and don't have any long-term experience. The only difficulty I have had is with releasing the toe strap. Sometimes it seems to stick. This is not the case for the ankle strap. There may be a particular way to pull the buckle to avoid this issue, but I haven't figured it out.

These bindings are solid. I'm running them on my Burton Easy Livin' and they perform perfectly. Great for anywhere on the mountain: park, pipe, pow, anything. I've only been riding them a season and I already love them. They might be a tad on the heavy side if you're looking for lots of air though. Union makes a great binding setup people. Adjustable everything.

Only Gripe is toe straps are a little sticky on release.

i purchased these bindings after all the good reviews however i have had nothing but issues the toe clip broke after two weeks although even before that it very rarely stayed on the correct part of my toe for a whole run and then recently the ankle strap snapped at the top of a run so i had to almost skate down the run as i had no back ankle strap. despite these issues when the binding has performed as expected it was an excellent binding to ride i was just disappointed with the build quality!!

Awesome contruction, lightweight and very comfortable. They're forgiving enough yet very responsive. You feel glued to the board and the heel strap is one of the most comfortable I've tried. Toe strap is awesomely universal but the realease is very tough at times. I switched them out with the burton capstraps and they are now the most perfect bindings ive owned to date. Love em and would give them 5 stars if i didnt have the problem with toe strap release.

Other comments suggested release of the lower binding was stiff, as of yet (~15 runs of use) I haven't experienced any of those issues.
This is really just a great binding, not much more to say!

The Union bindings that I bought my husband for Xmas he loves! He told me that he gets frustrated though because one of the screws on the bindings come loose pretty easily. He was told that by someone else on the mountain the first day he used him. The guy told him that he has them as well and likes them a lot, but that they come loose a lot.

Great binding, incredibly tough and well built however the toe strap takes a lot of fumbling around to get it to fit right and even then it is sticky.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2013:

These are great bindings. Locked my feet in place firmly but were still comfortable, no awkward angles or cut circulation that some of my previous bindings have had.

Day 2 of riding saw the toe ladder from my back foot binding snap clean in half at the top of the lift, but I suspect this was more to do with the cold temperature and my clumsy stomping feet than any poor quality on the bindings' part. Got a replacement ladder for $5 which only took 3 minutes to install, so not really a complaint. Bonus: riding down the mountain without a toe strap on my back foot was crazy; could hardly tell the strap was gone!

One thing to watch out for: the ratchets are a little sticky, which a previous review mentions as well. Not a huge issue but can be a little irritating when its icy and you need to hit the restroom like yesterday.

come from a few Ride bindings and prior to that Burton binders.

Always loved the straps on burtons, but hated their high backs. Ride bindings have had horrible ratchets and low durability.

Been in love with my unions. Fit great, east entry and easy release, cool colors and seems very durable, basically, all you could want from bindings, would recommend.

Just bought these from EVO. I am in Canada and my friend in the states got them and brought me them. I saved $90 because of it.
Great product, they shipped it very fast for $3 which was AWESOME! They had the free shipping feature but I went for $3 to make sure it got to her in time so she could bring them back. The product is in brand new condition obviously... and I got exactly what I ordered!

                                  Thanks!
