These are the first pair of Union's I have had. They look awesome, are for the most part a great blend of comfort/flexibility/strength. I have the neon green which also just looks sick. My only complaint, and this might be an adjust I need to make since it only happens on one binding is. That the toe strap gets snow stuck in the slot easily, which sounds lame, but when that happens the strap will not go forawrd all the way. You need a knife to clear the snow out and who carries a knife to snowboard!?! When that problem does not surface the straps/buckes are super secure and I don't have to stop and tighten them during a run. Over all great bindings.

At first glance these bindings appeared as if they had some potential especially upon checking the price tag. I have riding them for about three days and have found many flaws. For starters the sizing chart is entirely wrong. Union recommends a size L/XL for a boot 9.5 to 14 when in reality my size 10.5 doesn't come close to fitting comfortably in the binding. I have actually adjusted al parts of the bindings to make it as small as possible, and still my heels will come up when leaning into turns. This happens so badly that the grip on the high back has peeled off. The bolts that hold your straps to the heel cup come loose easily an require constant tightening, and as someone else said in their review the toe straps are super awkward. Once you finally find that position where there is the most boot to strap contact you will have to deal with unneeded pressure on the outside of your toes. Last but not least the toe straps also have proven to be difficult to release every once and a while. This is to big of a con but can definitely get annoying.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2012:

I love these bindings. I have had Forces for a couple years now, and I got to demo the 2012 version this past season. They are still my favorite bindings on the market.
They're clean, simple, strong, light, and have good response. Not to mention the styling of these bindings is right no par. Other companies have tried to bite their look, but there is only one original.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2012:

The toe strap continually gets stuck, which is frustrating. I've taken my gloves off to get at better grip and have sliced, like a monster papercut, my finger twice on the strap while forcing the toe strap to release. Also, the screws keep coming loose so the bindings move around on the board. This is disappointing because I heard Union is a great company but I am not impressed.

    Service and delivery comments:

Evo is an awesome company. They were super nice and helpful and my package came really fast!!!

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2012:

Got a pair of these in 2008, and still shred the hell out of them. Just ordered the 2012's to go on this year's NS 158 Heritage. Only problem I had with the 08's was the buckle sometimes would not release, sometimes it was a pain, but took a minute or so to fix. Never left me hanging, and was always able to reset the ratchet. Shiznit bindings.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2012:

I do a lot of jibbing, because I'm a skateboarder mainly. Also, not much powder here, on the east coast. These seem to flex well, and fit comfortably. The ony problem I had was getting the toe cap to work with my boot easily. It seemed to slide up a bit. I'm sure after some more adjustments they'll do fine. Other than that they're a great product and work very well.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2012:

This was my first set of unions and I am not disappointed. Good amount of stick while having just the right amount of flex. Takes a while to get the adjustment right but once you do they're super comfy. Dollar for dollar these are some of the best bindings you can get for the money.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2012:

I use these bindings with my Bataleon Evil Twin 157. This setup is mainly for park riding and cruising my local mountain. Overall, great lightweight binding, easy to install and customize fitting to your boot and fairly easy entry/release. My one vice about these binding is how the toe strap fits over the boot...hard to align evenly with a snug fit.

Comments about Union Force Snowboard Bindings 2012:

Great binings. Only problem i noticed was after a day of hard riding, the twisting lever that allows the switch to be moved up and down on the back of the binding (adjust the angle of the highback) snapped off. This snapped after my second day of riding and i was extremely disappointed. Since i ride with my highback at a nearly 90 degree angle, it doesnt really affect me much besides the fact that i snapped somthing on brand new bindings
