Comments about Union Factory Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Rode the factories all day yesterday on my TRS…

The good:
- Love the highback -- super comfortable and pretty stiff front to back flex wise. Response is instant with very little effort.
These are quite a bit stiffer than I thought they would be.
- The straps are cush and comfortable ---- The toe cap strap is a MASSIVE improvement over the Piece of trash toe cap that were on my forces a few years ago. The strap is grippy, thick and conforms nicely after about an hour over the toe. They fit perfectly on my Imperials with no pressure points.
- Dampening is off the charts.. A silky smooth cadillac style ride that smooths out chop and chunder at face melting speeds.
- Ratchets are problem free. No sticking, slipping. Solid.
- For whatever reason, I didn't notice or feel the canting.

The bad:
- The set up is a pain in the you know what--- Especially the highback rotation.
- There's no marking on the ""shift on the fly forward lean" = you have remember the number of clicks for your set up. No f1, f2 like B's which makes it super easy to set up/modify your lean.--- add some notches in the highback or just print Numbers.
- NO tool free adjustments on the top cap(I think they've gone tool-less next year?

But these are minor problems that don't take away from the sheer epicness of these bindings.

In fact, I forgot about them about an hour into the day and just rode my butt off.(IMO this is the hallmark of a binding that fits your needs)

The combination of comfort, dampening and surprising amount of response is almost unbeatable.

They are a MASSIVE improvement over the Piece of garbage Forces I have a few years ago that felt heavy, clunky, lifeless and basically were the worst binding I've ever ridden.

Quite pleased with my purchase.

Buy the factories with confidence if you're looking for a cushy, responsive, solid binding.

Comments about Union Factory Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I just got the darker series lib tech and my contacts were way too soft. I stepped up to these after considering the chargers and metafuse bindings. However I didn't want that was too stiff for tweakability and so I wouldn't have to be charging hardcore all day. These bindings give you great adjustability and while they are a little heavy they aren't too heavy. They give you the right amount of stiffness and flexability. If you need a stiffer binding I'd check these out and save a good chunk of cash from the two models i listed earlier. If you think they will be too soft for you and you charge too hard for them remember that this is Travis Rice's model and I might be wrong but I doubt you're going as hard as him...

Comments about Union Factory Snowboard Bindings 2014:

After weeks worth of research going over all the minuscule details for all the best bindings out there, I ended up picking the TRice Union Factory bindings and I do not regret that decision at all. The specs and the price really made this one stand out to me. The fact the Travis Rice uses them just was icing on the cake.

Overall setup was fairly straightforward. Though it is a little hard to adjust the heel cup for these bindings. The manual only mentioned two screws that I needed to loosen, but that wasn't working for me. Upon further investigation, it was pretty clear that the screw holding the ankle strap needed to be loosened as well. Once I got passed that, everything else was a breeze.

I bought these to go along with my Lib Tech Darker Series board. With the combined bamboo stilts on the board and the gas pedals in the bindings, I am riding high and really able to throw this board around at will. Feels great so far!

Comments about Union Factory Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Whatelse can I said that hasn't been said by the other reviewers??? I was a skeptic at first because I've had a couple of bad experiences with Union bindings but these bindings are 100% the real deal!

They are extremely comfortable, the super fat footbed absorbs every single bump, mogul, death cookie, etc... I'm a 40 yr old rider with bad knees so the cushy footbeds were most def a bonus!(I've been ridin' for about 25+ years and my knees have been abused from skating and snowboarding...)

Here are some of my additional thoughts:
(my bindings are paired up with a 161 Banana Magic)
-The bindings are very responsive and will react instantly to your command.
-They finally fixed the infamous "toe cap" issue! the buckles are smoooooth like butta!!!
-Ankle straps are very cush with lots of support, very comf all day long!
-LOVE the canted footbeds! super cush and aborbs every impact!

Bottomline, these bindings are def replacing my Cartels! (I've been a long time Cartel rider and yes, I've tried other brands but always came back to Cartels.) There's nothing to think about, just "add to cart" and scoop these bad boys up!!!

P.S.: my ONLY complaint is that GIANT "U" on the back of the binding... that just looks tacky.

Comments about Union Factory Snowboard Bindings 2014:

For a hard charge down the mountain the stability and response of your board determine everything. I've never seen a binding of such stability that still gives a bit on the jumps. I found the bindings to be a bit heavy by my standards pulling them out of the box, but after feeling the increased sensitivity of my board and the difference in height I realized a heavy binding that is higher off the ground was the most controlled setup I'd ever used. The bindings also aren't just for racing down the slopes, by allowing the binding to be higher and wider I can now ride a 156 Regular with a size 12 boot much easier. This allows the binding to cater to a younger more extreme freestyle crowd. Overall my only complaint is that other companies mold plastic and pass them off as quality for half the price.

      Service and delivery comments:

I was offered free 2 Day Air Priority without even asking. Was very impressed with an immediate email and UPS Tracking number. When the package arrived the box for my bindings was well packaged in another box so the package wouldn't draw too much attention. I appreciated how they had not been touched. Too many times I order new product that has been used as a display or taken out of the box at one point. Not here. This company has really grabbed my attention and has my full recommendation over my prior retailers. Also not a big deal but I always love when they remember to throw in some free stickers.
