Looking for your first pair of bindings that won't break the bank and that will last a long time? The Union DLX Snowboard Bindings are here for you. Burly construction and super easy to use buckles and straps make Union, and the DLX, go-to's for many snowboarders. Union uses Dupont™ Zytel® ST in every single one of their bindings, for unparalleled durability. Plus, easy on-slope adjustment comes standard, making the DLX a perfect fit for your next snowboard setup.
Baseplate
Stage I Base - A lightweight and bombproof base that is made out of Dupont™ Zytel® ST and offers up a Lifetime warranty.

Dupont™ Zytel® ST - The highest-quality nylon, used on all Union baseplates, results in strength, safety, security and the confidence of a Lifetime warranty.
Injected EVA Bushings - They dampen vibrations underfoot to promote a more comfortable ride and a smooth, even board flex with no dead spots. Each size comes with its own durometer for custom performance.

Straps
Direct-Connect Strap System - Simply and directly connect your straps for a simple and quick strap that won't come undone.
Buckles
Injected Aluminum Buckles - Fast in, and fast out. Union aluminum is second-to-none.

Toe Buckle System - All-New Toe Buckle System - Multi-positional options with open Ultra Grip™ Design

Highback
Multizone Dupont™ Zytel® ST Highbacks - These highbacks are tapered towards the top, providing flex and tweakability where you want it and support and durability where you need it. Made of Dupont™ Zytel® ST for maintaining flexibility and strength in the widest range of temperatures.
Quick Adjust Forward Lean - Quickly adjust your forward lean before dropping in to the pipe, or laying down some Eurocarves.
Additional Features
Extruded Anodized Aluminum Heelcups - The strongest and most versatile aluminum heelcup on the market, extruded aluminum comes out 100% pure and maintains its true shape no matter how much wear and tear you inflict. Also, every Union heelcup undergoes an anodizing process—reinforcing the already bombproof apparatus with 30% more strength.
Universal Disks - Compatible with any traditional 4x4 mounting system and 3-hole board patterns. Channel Compatible Disc is available separately from Union to fit Burton snowboards with The Channel.
Grade 8.8 Hardware - The most commonly used hardware is made from "mild steel" that has a property class of only 4.6. Considering how much stress a binding is under, Union uses only the strongest steel on ALL hardware.
Tool-Free Adjustment - No screwdriver needed - quick and easy on hill adjustment.

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Binding Style: Strap
  • Warranty: Lifetime Warranty on Base
