Product Info

Lightweight response seems to be the thing all riders strive for, none more that Union rider Gigi Rüf . The Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings offer the lightest weight material, the smallest, most evenly-distributed board flex in the game, and Gigi's stamp of approval. Full of options to increase strength like the Dupont™ Zytel® ST, the Contact Pro is stable and easy to ride in all conditions. Grab a pair of these flossy bindings, throw them on your board, and hit the slopes, knowing that you'll be a whole level above the rest with a binding that decimates its opponents.

Contact Pro HighbacksIncredibly light and comfortable, Gigi Ruf approved. Symmetrically made for an even and controlled response.

Shift-on-the-Fly Forward LeanQuick and easy to use, adjust the forward lean with a simple flip of a knob then slide it to wherever you want and re-lock it. Easily done while waiting in those pesky lift lines.

Additional Features

All-New Extruded 3D Aluminum HeelcupsThis process removes material to reduce weight but maintains strength.

Comments about Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Haven't been able to use yet but after playing around, bindings are comfortable and easily adjusted. These needed to be pushed down pretty hard for the screw to catch the board, not sure if this is due to the EVA foam or just because the screws are short.

Comments about Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Set up took a bit of getting used to, and if you like to switch out boards throughout the day, you are going to need a bit more time. Other than that, they are very comfortable, have great adjustments that are quick, and outstanding construction.

Comments about Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings 2014:

Nice to ride in but really not very strong build.

The padding on ankle straps and highbacks has worn right through.

Buckle on the toe strap broke after a couple of weeks.

Even one of the red metal Union logos on the side fell off.

Warranty only covers the baseplate, so none of the above.

These are supposedly top of the range, so I wouldn't recommend or buy Unions again

Comments about Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings 2014:

New ratchet system is ridic for '14. I see these C Pro's lasting awhile unless I break the highback. Through a couple weeks of slaying in & out, C Pro's are beast & luxury for the all mountain jibber. Notably, these binding are extra dampening in my opinion, and one of the sole reasons I got them, except for wanting a little less stiff high back for some all-around mountain & some kickers of course. I think it is mostly made for a park n' pipe rider, but I like this on a Capita TFA, some NS, most Bataleons, or any of the hybrid C2 or C3 camber from Mervin... makes a really really sick all around binding to complement those models.

Only thing you have to get use to - is the mini disc on the C Pro. If the rating scale was 1-10... I'd give a 9.5, and only not give that last half point for the mini disc inserts just confusing me for my exacts needs/wants.

Comments about Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings 2014:

These bindings are great! I use them on my NS Cobra X and the responsiveness from that combo is fantastic. The only time consuming part is setting them up to ride. They were easy to get in and out of. They are definitely strong, lightweight and flexible to different riding styles. They are great for all mountain riding or for fun in the park. They definitley give you great flex response from your board.

Comments about Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings 2014:

I like these bindings. They are lightweight and have a basic design, but it works. The mini disc give you a smooth interface with the board, but as mentioned above, it helps to put some pressure to compress the foam when mounting for the first time. Only drawback is a flimsy highback adjuster, but its no big deal.
