Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Bindings 2016

Rome Shop all Rome
Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither were the Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Bindings. Finally, the construction of the 390s has been perfected to be the kind of bindings that will take your riding to the next level and never stop. Built with a medium flex that is responsive and stable for slashing lines and stomping jumps yet friendly enough for open-to-close park laps. The V-Rod Baseplate enhances your board's performance due to its minimal footprint, encouraging a natural and even flex profile with improved response and pop. Where you go and what tricks you throw with the Rome 390 Boss Bindings are for you to decide, but trust that the possibilities are endless.
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - The perfect combination of playfulness and power. This medium flexing binding gives you the precision and control you need for freeriding and the forgiving feel you want for freestyle.
V-Rod Baseplate - Flex and pop. A V-shaped baseplate with a "rod" of edge-to-edge contact reduces the binding's footprint across the board. This creates a more natural and even board flex with improved lateral mobility for presses and turning power.
SubBase V-Pad - 3D EVA and rubber fill the lifted corners of the V-shaped baseplate for cushioning. This creates a smooth side-to-side flex while reducing vibrations and absorbing impact.
Contour Boss.2 Ankle Strap - A low-profile, bulk-free lightweight design. Using high-conforming, temperature resistant foams, Rome created a form-fitting 3D strap that nests into the ankle of the boot for comfort.
ConformGrip Toe Strap - A low-pressure, low-profile strap offering a secure fit to any boot.
AutoStrap Technology - With AutoStrap, the ankle strap is pulled out of the way so you can step into your binding faster obstruction free.
Quick Adjust for Strap Length - No need for a screwdriver, with the flip of a lever you can choose the length you want/need for a perfect fit.
Multiple Strap Positions - Every Rome binding comes with 3 or more strap positions so you can customize the level of strap support you want.
Tool-Free Highback Forward Lean Adjuster - Quick and easy control over your forward lean.
Full Highback Rotation - Allows riders to adjust highback position to match their stance ankles and their personal styles. Full range from 0 degrees to 24 degrees.
390 Asym Highback - Ergonomically designed for a seamless boot interface. The 390 is slightly canted towards the inside of your boot giving you epic response, improved lateral flex and freestyle playfulness.
Additional Features
Yes, I Cant System - 0-Degrees or 2.5-degrees binding footbeds for power over your tip and tail and customized knee comfort.
UnderWrap.2 Heel Hoop - Delivers edge-to-edge power through a lightweight, leverage enhancing aluminum structure with torsional flexibility for improved lateral mobility. Underwrap Heel Hoop gives you flex that is powerful for freeriding and flexible for freestyle.

  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Binding Style: Strap
  • Warranty: 2 Years
