You don't want vertigo when you're riding, but you do want the power of the Vertigo™ highbacks on the Ride Capo Snowboard Bindings. The Vertigo is a freestyle all-mountain focused highback to provide you with optimal support and control. Jake Welch might be known for throwing down bangers, but you can be too when you are riding his bindings of choice - loaded with a Urethane™ Rollerbar to dampen hard impacts and vibrations from sending it off park jumps. Hang tight and hang right with the Ride Capo Snowboard Bindings.
Flex
Flex Rating: 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - This snowboard binding has a medium stiff flex which is good for an aggressive rider looking for amped up binding-to-board responsiveness, precision and support.
Baseplate
Wedgie™ Footbed - This ultra-light footbed uses subtle angles to align your ankles and knees to a more natural and comfortable position. This angle also gives leverage for pressing without needing to change your preferred stance width.
Urethane Rollbar™ - Injected urethane material that provides extra dampening and shock absorption that is beneficial for both high-speed charging and high-impact park riding.
Forged Aluminum Micro-Disc - This binding baseplate is built for enhanced all-around binding flex and performance. It is 30% lighter than standard baseplates and built for 2x4 insert patterns but can also mount to slot and channel boards.
EVA Basepads - A sheer layer of vibration absorbing material that deadens high-speed chatter.
Straps
Freestyle Ankle Strap - Featuring clean flip and stitch construction, made from multiple-density 3D padding and formed neoprene for freestyle charging.
ThinGrip™ Max Toe Strap - Over the top or over the toe you can wear it anywhere. This high-end strap features a unique 3D shaped rubber web for the ultimate grippy fit with your snowboard boot.
Flipside™ Mount Straps - This strap technology provides an easier way to get in your bindings because it holds the straps open and out of the way.
Buckles
AstroGlyde™ LT Ratchets - This quality aluminum ratchet lever looks as good as it functions. Featuring an innovative minimalist design that is cored out for an ultra lightweight feel.
Highback
Vertigo™ Highback - Utilizing Stance Correct which aims to work with your natural riding stance to achieve lateral support and medial flex for proper balance support, control and mobility. The Vertigo™ is a responsive all-mountain freestyle highback offering a unique louvered design.
Additional Features
Aluminum Edge™ Chassis System with Adjustable Heelcup - A versatile, all mountain performance chassis featuring easy adjustment, stance correct heel cup and micro disc mountain for 2x4 inserts and channel compatibility. Made with 100% aircraft grade 6061 aluminium alloy to deliver unsurpassed durability, quality and performance for the advancing rider.

  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
