FT-2 Lightweight Aluminum Baseplate – This baseplate is an engineering achievement of hyper cored aerospace aluminum, stamped and formed for mind reading response and unmatched light weight. This baseplate enables Mervin to make one of the lightest bindings in any category.
EVA Foam Footbed – Full cushion heel to toe

FT-4 Asym Highback – Designed for instant response, delivering the most precise edge-to-edge control. The radial shape and added surface area creates a comfortable and supportive highback. Inward slanting highback angles create bio-correct ergonomic support.
Straps
Asymmetrical Comprex Ankle Strap – Extra large surface area of strap provides maximum support while a compression window absorbs any boot biting pressure.
Micro Buckle – With the Micro Buckle, a rider can easily adjust strap tension on the go.
Thin Fit Toe Strap – Thin Fit Straps have an oversized surface area for extra stability and control. The flexible design conforms to the shape of your boot toe to secure fit.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
