Flow NXT AT Snowboard Bindings 2010: When the world’s most progressive and aggressive freestyle team says “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” Flow listens. Well, sort of. With some new and improved features, the NXT AT snowboard binding never looked so good. Built for shredders who want an all-mountain toy and will dive the steeps and butter as many boxes as they see fit. The Flow NXT AT does it all.

  • Straps:Flow’s I-Flex Strap has deep side cutouts that provide ideal flex for freestyle maneuvers and all-mountain riding. The I-Flex is the most adaptable strap in the line, working with virtually every boot shape on the market. The 3-D molded contour nestles perfectly to the critical instep area, while maintaining a direct force path from rider to board for powerful toeside turns.
  • Highbacks:All Flow Ventilated highbacks feature an integrated backflare at the lower edge. This eliminates any risk of the highback catching on a protruding boot heel during entry or exit, and also serves to stiffen the overall highback structure through the enhanced 3-D shaping.
  • Baseplates:Forged alloy and fiber-reinforced components make the NXT models the most powerful and demanding of all binding systems. The rockered alloy baseplate is unique and allows a more natural flex of the board while eliminating point loading on your deck. It provides the best characteristics of both plastic and metal baseplates.
  • Additional Features:The NXT AT features independently adjustable toe and heel landing EVA-pads with 4 locking Airframe MINIratchets and low-friction ladder guides

Comments about Flow NXT AT Snowboard Bindings 2010:

Awsome bindings. Make sure you set them up before you go to the mountain, but if you do find that they are too tight (like i did one time) you can still adjust them at the mountain (just like i did). The ratchet system is amazing. Once set up perfectly you have no preassure points and it feels like the board is glued to your boots.

      Light and comfortable.

Comments about Flow NXT AT Snowboard Bindings 2010:

I like the set-and-forget deal with these bindings. Plus I can reach the locking lever more easily than with strap bindings. The ratchet system on the instep strap of these makes them adjustable like a traditional binding, but you still have the quick in-out of a Flow.

A couple of heads-up things. First, these take a while to get dialed in when you first get them. It is definitely worth the effort to spend some time reading the manual and futzing around initially. Because once you have them set up, everything works great on the hill. Don't plan to make all the adjustments right before getting on the lift the first day though. Second, there can be some issues with Flow bindings on a powder day or a day with really sticky snow. If snow builds up underfoot, it will affect the fit of the bindings. This used to be a bigger deal with flows when they didn't have the ratchets on the straps. Now with the ratchets, you can make a quick adjustment, but it still isn't quite the same as with a strap binding.

I love the responsiveness of the binding and the feel/comfort. Every pair of strap bindings I've tried (including the fancy expensive ones made by that company in VT) dig into my instep and/or fail to hold my heel properly. These give me great hold and comfort.

Comments about Flow NXT AT Snowboard Bindings 2010:

Overall these bindings are an amazing product. These are my second pair of Flow bindings, and are a clear upgrade from the M-9's I had. Once you get the piece adjusted to your boot everything else becomes much more simple. The comfort level is awesome....... well worth the money!
