Specs

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
  • Binding Style: Rear-entry
  • Warranty: Limited 1 Year

Comments about Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings 2013:

I called to purchase these as a gift, and we went to use them at Beaver Creek in Vail. This is for my son who is 13. The ski school instructors said that they preferred me to purchase the type of binding that you have to sit down to put on, and that these types might be better suited for a more advanced person.
I asked my son about this and he said he disagreed! He liked these better because he didn't have to sit down to put them on, and they were easy to step into and use immediately! He loves snow boarding and loves the bindings.

Comments about Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings 2013:

So I'm not much into tricks or terrain, but I do enjoy myself just riding powder. For me, I find this to be so much more convenient when getting off the lift. Just pop my foot into the binding and I'm off. The think I truly hated about snowboarding before was the amount of time spent sitting in the snow trying to buckle in my bindings. That is a problem no more

Comments about Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings 2013:

It took a while to get used to the step in and out but once I did I was off the lift and down the slopes faster than every other rider! Very convenient and responsive.

The screws did loosen up after about 15 runs so be sure to check on them regularly. Overal a great buy.

Comments about Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings 2013:

The flow bindings are awesome. I like spending more time going down the mountain than, sitting on my butt. With the flow bindings, you step in click, and you are ready to go. It just doesn't get any better than that. Their construction is very high quality, and for less than a 100 dollars I don't know why everyone on the mountain does't have a pair of these.

Comments about Flow Flite 1 Snowboard Bindings 2013:

The first day i used them i gave them one hell of a pounding on the black diamond course for two days straight and they got very little wear. Good movement for keeping balance and the drop in and out feature comes in handy. The only thing i noticed is the little holes for the bindings to go into after you tighten would get snagged and one side managed a small tear. Nothing that effect the performance though just something i noticed
