I use these bindings with a Never Summer Raptor X 164 and found them to be totally fuss-free, reliable, and easy to enter and exit. They have great response without being too stiff, and very comfortable staps for all-day riding. Perfect on-piste in Alberta and riding powder in Zermatt. I am very satisfied with the Cartels, and would recommend them for riders looking for a dependable all-mountain binding.

I am usually anti anything Burton, only cause so many posers buy into it. But the honest truth is, after having the original K2 cinches for a decade, I needed new bindings after getting low profile boots. These are so light compared to my old bindings that I can hang my board on the lift and not get a cramp. I am still getting used to ratcheting on the ground but thats a non binding issue. They do fit like gloves, nice and comfy. I just wanted something that was not too expensive and up to date tech, and you really can't go wrong with Burton when it comes to tech. They have been at it forever. Very happy with this purchase. Now I just gotta put stickers over the 'burton' haha.

Switching from my ancient Ride EX bindings to these was like night and day. Ride makes aluminum bindings, and though they've done much to improve their weight recently, my 04's weigh a ton compared to the Cartels. The Cartels provide just as much stiffness and responsiveness though. And I rarely have to make an adjustment once I strap in. Very comfortable and no pinch.

Just a couple knocks though...one of the screws for the 4x4 mounts had mis-formed threads and would not screw on smoothly on my board (I think it may have messed up the threads on the screw hole in the board, in fact). Two, my buddy bought a pair at the same time and one of his ratchets failed on his fourth or fifth time on the mountain. We almost had to cut the strap before we finally got it to release. This, I've heard, is a common issue with Burton bindings, but I hope I don't have this problem because overall I think the bindings are quite good.

These bindings are great. The straps are super comfy. I really like that the ankle strap is a little thicker than the mission bindings, really adds extra comfort.

I am 6ft 170lbs and I wear an 11 boot. I ride with a large binding.
Style of riding is freeride, all mountain.
I upgraded to the Cartels from the Customs and definitely consider these an upgrade. They feel lighter and more flexible than the Customs. The straps aren't as bulky and the base comes with padding for a softer ride. I love the feature of being able to extend the toe padding to accomodate your boot size.
Like all Burton bindings, ratchets are the best in the industry and bindings are super easy to mount.

Binding looks amazing, especially the full bed cushioning system. It was a little tricky trying to figure how to put it on the board, but Google took care of that. As for response and comfort, I can't really rate it as I have not ridden it yet. So far, happy with what EVO sent out.

These are by fat the best bindings I have ever used. They are extremely easy to set up and install, and once installed, can still be easily adjusted. They are very comfortable and give you great control of your board in all comditions. I strongly recommend buying this product. These bindings are fantastic!!

I first got to try the cartel's on a burton demo weekend and I loved them. They fit comfortably around my Burton Moto's and seemed like they gave me more control over my board. They are lightweight and look great. I got the silver color bindings matched with my green GNU Pickle board. The ratcheting system works great and feels secure everytime!

These are a great pair of bindings. I've been snowboarding a long, long time and these are the best bindings I've ridden. I'm not the biggest fan, however, of the interface, which is merely screwed into the board and then covered over with a rubber padding. It's easy to set up, but if you want to change your stance you have to remove the rubber padding, unscrew all the screws, and adjust. It's not too difficult to do, but I would think that the technology could be better. Still, overall, I love these bindings.

evo had a sale on the Cartels and I needed another set of bindings so I ordered them. I have been using Diodes on my powder board (Unity Whale.) The Cartels are excellent and have performed as advertised. It is really hard to beat Burton bindings IMHO.

I've had these bindings for two full seasons, about 90 days on snow and they still look and feel brand new. Completely bulletproof pair of bindings. Look and feel awesome for great control on powder days or summer soap days in the park. One of my ratchets had a problem but it was easily replaced and could have been easily fixed by a shop, I was just too lazy. If you want a binding to do it all, this would be your best bet.

Bought these to replace a pair of 6 year old cartels that were stolen. These are a solid pair of bindings. Lightweight construction with a nice tall highback with great adjustability. Although the straps are not gel like my 6yr old pair were, they are still comfortable bindings.

These bindings are super comfortable. When I ride, i typically stay out all day long, open to close and these bindings stay comfortable through out the entire day. No pressure points.
I also love how easy they are to get into. I feel like my strapping in speed has increased two fold since getting these binding. Would buy again.

Great binding, I own the Burton Missions on my Ride. Got a new board and wanted to step up a level with the Cartels. This is for my freeride set-up. Great stiff binding for riding fast and carving hard.

I might have to switch binding brands... I loved the cartels... I was really impressed how well my boot fit in the tray of the binding... The straps where super comfy but held me in tight without having to over tighten anything. I can crank them down and the feet don't have any issues. I think it's the best fit I have had in a binding. The Cartels feel amazing. Not too responsive that you make un wanted turns. It was like putting on a glove. And burton has some of the best ratchets in the industry. I might need some of these on a burton nug
